Josuke won their battle, he outsmarted him and made him lose composure and he beat him in a H2H fight. Kira resorted to using BTD and that’s the only reason Jotaro had to step in

I feel like its because Jotaro was involved in these characters' lives. His theme plays subtly in both Josuke's and Jolyne's themes.

@@TomaTTC23 to some extent you can say that I do, recognizing a previously established pattern in another theme song sends shivers do, it's fascinating. but in this case it's terrifying because this is one for one what I remembered of Josuke's theme, the transaction to Jotaro's theme's exactly where I thought it was, and it's just how I've been humming his theme to myself for the longest time.

Josuke's Theme is so underrated that even the part where it has Jotaro's leitmotif on it rarely gets talked about, while everyone is talking how Traitor's Requiem sounds like Jolyne's Theme.

Maybe at some point. I only did this one because both themes share a leitmotif (if that’s the word) and I used that as the transitional point. Around 0:45, the ending of the Josuke theme is quite similar to the starting beats of Jotaro’s. I’ll have to give Jolyne’s theme a listen again and see what I can cook up. No promises though

Now do mix OP 9 and Jolyne theme.

IMO jotaro theme is the best due to the fact while not a banger unlike 4 or 5, it incredibly recognisable that jotaro is not only here but also about to flip everyone’s shit leading to great anticipation
