Ik aspects of jojo weren’t entirely thought through But my personal headcanon was always just that jotaro was (on some level) always like this due to the alessi fight and various circumstances surrounding his upbringing. I like to believe holly just has an idealized version of her son simply because she’s his mother and can’t help but not see him like her baby, regardless of how much he’s grown or changed.

Man I love how Joseph stays loyal to holly’s one name but that’s the only thing Joseph has been loyal to 😏

The JoJo dub, I believe, is the ideal English dub for anime. It doesn't sacrifice the characters' personalities nor does it take away from emotional moments whilst still changing small bits of dialogue to not seem like a stilted, copy, translate and paste of the original script. I know dubs are generally looked down upon, but if more dubs were this amazing, I feel their reputation would skyrocket.

@Theren No, only events of part 6 changed. Since Emporio killed Pucci while MIH was still working, he was gone forever. That’s why in better universe, Weather got happy life. Pucci don’t exist in new universe, so he would never meet with Dio and complete heaven plan. It’s mean Jotaro was finally done with all Dio minions and would often visit his family.

I watched part and part 2 in both languages then I watched the rest in sub only but the jp version usually has way more memes

I find it hilariously ironic that Bobobo-Bo Bo-Bobo is essentially weaved into the Part 3 storyline. His Japanese VA does DIO and his English one does Old Joseph.

im so glad the dubbed cast is getting more recognition! its nice to see other people appreciating the dubbed voice cast for part 3; i’ve always loved it, it’s the best one imo i haven’t found many other people that appreciate the dub like I do! i tolerate NO SDC dub slander here 🙅🏾‍♀️ ESPECIALLY polnareff’sVA he is so talented i live his voice so much OH MY GOD☝🏾☝🏾☹️ his range is FANTASTIC i admire it so much he adds so much personality, passion, and feel into his delivery its SO SO GOOD UGDHSJ
