Very smart guy. The interviewer tried to catch him out by asking ‘anything to say to the fans?’ If he replied ‘nothing to say’ there it would have sounded awful. So mourinho turns it back on the interviewer by saying ‘the fans are not stupid’ making it seem like the interviewer is the one disrespecting the fans.

Like he knew he need to get like at least a minute worth of interview and he handled this 'Rare' Situation pretty well like the way he talks, it doesn't feel like he was forced to ask questions or anything he just ask a few question nicely despite knowing that he won't get any answer from Jose. Give This Guy A Raise

What's goes unnoticed is the level of respect. The reporter doesn't ask the same question twice or pressure him for an answer and Mourinho doesn't get annoyed at the reporter as he knows it's just his job. Even when Mourinho is pissed af he keeps him calm
