It doesn't surprise me. People who live through the eyes of others are more likely to have a changing mood. I have huge respect for his work but I think Klopp tends to appeal a lot to the press and the public and when he appears in a less favourable situation (after a loss for example), he can be less smiling and joking.

Just a nice guy. He made his point, conveyed his frustration, then apologized cuz he knew he had an attitude. That is not a penalty but somehow, refs give it all the time in today's football. You could say it's the new norm but I think it's manifestation of bad refing, clear sign of lack of football knowledge. Referees should be told that it is ok to take a step in front of the defender to protect the ball in static positions, but when it happens during sprints, it is the equivalent of diving. You can't break your sprint towards the ball to block the defender's sprint, that's not in the game's spirit at all.

This is what I like about him, even when he's angry he's still trying to become more calm again and to turn himself to be more respectful again. This is a wonderful guy.

this journalist has huge balls, Klopp remains calm, this interview is epic.

@I love to have a change now and again It's often about the refs personality. Each ref has a very different interpretation of the rules and that's the issue. I've seen cases where a red card is given, VAR removes it, and a retrospective ban is then given. Refs in football very often disagree with one another about decisions.

I actually think the reporter did brilliant, stayed calm and respectfully gave his opinion when asked. Obviously Klopp is emotional and has a right to be angry with the reporter for having a different view on the penalty, but the reporter didn't cave under pressure or stutter once. Well done

The interviewer was being manipulative and antagonistic , he obviously had an agenda against him. But it doesn’t matter because since then Klopp won the league and the champions league and proved himself elite and the interviewer, is as suspected, an absolute loser 😂😂❤
I can only thank The Good Lord that this man is LFC's manager. I hope that he continues to stay with The Reds for many years to come.

His reaction is human. Obviously, very disappointed and not in the mood to discuss it with the reporter. He’s a great personality and even when angry, it’s with a smile. No mean-spiritedness, just a feeling of perceived injustice. We’ve all been there.

This is how I felt today. Lost 1-0 to city in carabao cup final, 90th minute clear penalty .. my whole controller vibrated and the cb didn’t get the ball like blatant penalty and ref didn’t call it.. lost my mind lol. Couldn’t imagine how it feels in real life

It's not a bad thing, it's just pressure of the job. As it happened I remember this game - I agreed it was a soft penalty, but unfortunately in the laws of the game it's a penalty. Do I agree with it? No, but I don't make the rules
Klopp basically terminated the interview and he still had the balls to ask him a final question and got the calmest answer at the end.... perseverence dear boy well done interviewer and well done klopp since and thats from a Chelsea fan

@@frederikzinn5427 the interviewer is basically saying Klopp doesn’t know what he’s doing, based on a few nippleheaded opinions from the BT Sport punditry. I have a low opinion of pundits and their acclaim to be able to manage, as do managers in general. If they could manage, let them try and see how easy it is. Otherwise, they should pipe down, and leave it to those that do (and in Klopp’s case, does well).

Personally I don’t think the issue here is the interviewer. He asked fairly standard questions but Klopp was obviously annoyed and was the argumentative one.
It’s embarrassing that this is in everton’s trophy cabinet 😂their biggest moment in the last 20 years is klopps interviews after a match, pathetic club.
It reminds me of the infamous Roy Hodgson interview where gets angry then suddenly calms down and asks to restart the interview.

I don’t think the interviewer is a bellend, he’s doing his job and I don’t think he provoked Jurgen in any way. Jurgen himself knows that as well and maintains a lowered voice throughout as they are both men who understand that he is pissed. I actually give credit to the interviewer to stick to his own opinion whilst Jurgen has all the right to be angry too
