Probably the single takedown by jones landed him the margin of the win. Probably why judges scored jones the winner. Kuz Reyes CLEALRY dominated the fight especially the first 3 rounds. And even the last 2 I'll give to to Reyes, my only assumption is that single takedown and the centre control of Octogan gave jones the win.

Reyes is better than Jones in this fight. I am suprised how good he is.

It is crazy. 5'11 means your height is 71" & you have a 73" reach. That's only 2 inch more. Jon is 6'4 so 76" height with an 84.5" reach. That's a 8.5 inch difference. His arms are absurdly long for his body.

when i first watched the fight i thought reyes won. second time i watching it i realized that theres alot of things i didnt catch the first time. i would judge based on strikes landed but also the damage each strike inflicted. jones strikes looked like they were doing damage but he also made reyes shots appear less affective than they might have been. everybody should know by now that if you want to claim your place as champ you have to be very convincing in your victory and sadly; or just sadly for everyone that thinks reyes was robbed, it wasnt convincing enough 😢

And hw didn't and doesn't matter anyways Reyes is on a 3 KO streak and Jones easily won the HW belt. Also every casual MMA fan only sees punches throw not landed. There was a paticular sequence which was even included in this highlight video, i belive early in round 2 where Reyes was pushing forvard with like 10 punches and maybe lands 2-3 glancing not clean proper 100% shoots on Jones There was even a part where he threw a left hand right uppercut left hand. A 3 punch Combo and Jones just simply head movements away from the punchea like Neo against bullets. The same thing was very relevant in the Gustafsson and Santos fight. People used to Jones being an untouchable fighter so when somebody pressures him MMA fans already aasume he is losing and getting beat up and stuff when 70% of the time when these guys pressuring him they can barely land a few good shoots on him and they miss like 60% of what they are throwing complitely. If a guy goes forvard with 4 punches but lands 1 ajd the other one land 2 leg kicks the guy wins couse he landed 2-1 not the other couse he was hitting air with the 3 missed punches. Course when a close fight happens in Jones's career people don't like him so they automaticly call it a a robbery and this and that and it's pathetic

Yes Jones was never the same after this he got even better while Reyes got broke 3 times. Also Jon wasn't running dude the champion after Jones retired was taken out by Glover Texeira who got destroyed by Jon. He got bored and wanted bigger fights that's why he moved up to HW and we saw him there being in a huge fight already beingined up against Stipe as well. Running from who tho? After this fight Jan was about to be his next contender if he doesn't vacates amd we saw Jan got 0 grappling against Glover Jon would have submited him in 2 rounds or less🤣

A guy who at the age of 23 went in front of thousands of people to face with the Champion. The guy who took on Daniel Cormier, the guy who beat his opponent while his toe was broken in half. You calling Jones scared is so pathetic and so shit and not realistic. Also he wasn't just waiting for 3 years. First he had to make a HW body that probably took a lot of time to get the weight and getting the HW shape and atletisizm. Also in 2021 the fight was between Stipe and N'gannu so he couldn't be a 3rd guy in the cage. Than Francis was messing with the UFC and they made an interim belt for Lewis and Gane. Than couse Gane was the interim champ he had to fight with Francis in 2022 than for the rest of the year N'gannu sit out with an injury that needed surgery so Jones couldn't fight for the belt in 2022 either. In 2023 N'gannu was messing with the UFC again and he himself decided to not fight in the UFC couse he wanted unrealistic things from the company. And he was the one who left Jones was there the whole time ready to fight if he gets the opportunity simply he couldn't get it sonner as i explained already why. Also Cirly arguebly was a harder fight for Jones as people siad couse he hits lime a HW couse he is one and moves fast and has great skills. Many people even picked Gane especially that Jones couldn't fight for 3 years. Also Francis was the one who went running if anybody he was the one who wanted more money than change his contract to go fight other promotions while still being the Champ of the UFC. Which is rediculos he already held up the divison enough fighting once a year. And he left not Jones. If Francis said "Yes Dana i accept the most money contract in the divisions history and fight for the company" Jones would have faced him at UFC 285. Francis ran away i guess by your logic and Jones is on top of this divison now as well. Yes he gonna fight "old" Stipe yes but isten Stipe still no joke he was beating DC in 2020 when Jones starzed bulking. Than he had 1 fight he got KOd but took the time to recover and Jones had only 1 fight since 2020 as well that was of course this year. So it's not like Stipe is some old easy fight. Jones might gonna make him look like one too, like he did with Gane but Stipe is still the GOAT of HW. And he is not that old in this weight class. You see older guys in the division than him.
