While this is all true, I must point out that officially this tradition comes from the book of Enoch and is not canonical in Judaism and is for the most part Azazel is still seen as an angel associated with the scapegoat ritual. The idea he is a fallen angel is solely Christian, and even then only found In non-canonical scripture

@@daftpunkfan1209 It certainly does have some weird stuff, although the reference to Azazel (and his purviews) showed up pretty early in the Book of Giants and the book of Enoch (respectively), long long before satinism (as least, today's LaVay satanism). Granted, enochian texts are considered apocryphal by most Judeo-Christian sects.
