This is a story that has begging to be told, and the probably the best comeback story in modern business history. T-Mobile is a contemporary slant on the Horatio Alger motif. John is a breath of fresh air in a world where CEO's are scared to stand out.

OMG! John Legere's fearlessness is so refreshing. Haven't had a chance to check him out as far as what companies he's collaborating with, but loving the energy, something I need myself right about now. Like "they" say, getting older ain't for sissies!" I love that he "thinks outside the box" a trait that, as of this very minute, is going to be my motto. People are looking for a David and Goliath scenario w/these phone providers, cable TV (which is so going by the wayside as we speak) & other companies that are thinking "in the box." My hubby & I are one of the first love stories online before there even was an online. Back in '84 we met over CompuServe (for you younguns, the precursor to AOL, and so-on and so-forth...) @ 300 baud, no less, and although it's been a bit rocky since my stroke these days--that isn't too bad for a couple who have been together THAT long. Good for you Mr. Legere! Continued success and showing the naysayers that there is more than one way to do business. I'll be checking T-Mobile out!

I switched to T-Mobile after being a Verizon customer for 18 years. I've never looked back since. I now realize he's personally responsible for me doing so. T-Mobile wouldn't be the company it is today without him, which compelled me to switch.

Well this CEO, John J Legere, HATES his Pre-paid customers on T-Mobile. You get no deals on "budget phones". And when they do have good deals they only sell us phones meant for the Third World market. If you are thinking of switching to T-MOBILE's Pre-paid service, DON'T, it's just not worth it.

What I think I've kinda noticed is. T mobile try to jump on the same wave as the people as far as data usage and the way that they were the first big carrier to do the 0 down thing. That's working with the people. As far as data usage goes. Way back when I used a lot it really slowed and you could tell. But now it's like during the loading your can tell but after that you can't

I switched to T-Mobile based on the BOGO for iPhone 8. Local store told me I’d receive a credit card in the mail for the $800. Six weeks later called T-Mobile and there were issues, but the rebate dept assured me all was fixed. Another six weeks with no results, I call and they say, oh it’s on it’s way in 4 weeks. Doesn’t come...I call...rep says oh, that’s been denied but we can give you $300 (instead of the original $800)!!?! I’m filing fraud charges with the FTC and Better Business Bureau. Also will be moving back to Verizon. In the meantime, out $500. My perspective? This plus the fact that I have spotty service anywhere I go, T-Mobile is a scam.

He reminds me of Nintendo. T Mobile itself is something like Nintendo. Both have engaging CEOs and while Nintendo isnt big on social media, in gaming it creates the Nintendo Directs and other media which excites people. Nintendo is cheesy, passionate, and only and all about gaming. It has creates lovable leaders because they really are good at connecting with their customers and being unlike what you would expect from CEOs. I have been a T Mobile customer for a total of maybe a decade and every time I would look into other phone companies I would decide to stay with T Mobile. Though Metro PCS is looking very good right now. I am tempted due to not needing the best internet performance ever, but I can afford mainline T Mobile and it has its benefits. I will think about it next month maybe. Both run by T Mobile. Loving their CEO and their options and of course their CS.

Imran Haque yes, been between AT&T and Verizon(work phones) , and in my area tmobile is the best when it comes to price/service. If you travel in the middle of nowhere a lot, Verizon is the choice. If you are going from city to city, tmobile is neck and neck with Verizon and even better in some. AT&T has really been slipping in the mobile world in my experiences.

I used T-Mobile in Germany, they were expensive and had bad customer service (no trained personnel only part time staff, slow to reply, not very helpful)

I have 2 accounts for cell phones. My husband uses a different one than I so I see how much his bill is and he doesn't even have unlimited data. For what he gets, his plan is too high. I've had 3 other grownups and I have 3 devices of my own for a total of 6 and at one time 7 devices. My husband's bill was just too high compared to mine and he only had 3gb of data a month at the time and only 1 device. I could never afford to help others if I was not using T-mobile. I get a chance to deal with 2 different companies and compare services and plans. I know the difference and which gives the best service and who has the best plan. I will NEVER LEAVE T-mobile!!!!

No not really, in my location T Mobile signal sucks. US Cellular is hands down the best signal.

I honestly believe all phone companies are the same. I’ve been with TMUS for 15 years am I’m not completely satisfied with the service my bill is $177 a month by the way you could subtract $53 minus the phone and watch payments. I had gotten to a point when I was going over to VZ. At work, I work for the government by the way and TMUS didn’t want to give me a discount. So while at work one of my work mates said she wanted to come to TMUS I asked why. She said service drops along her commute. I’ve been having the same issue with TMUS. I asked where, did she notice where the drops were happening. I was surprised that the areas were lower income areas. Just like my issue. I then told her to stay with VZ they are all the same. Yes I’ll stay with TMUS I’ll pay my $177 bill and never be late either but my service will still be terrible. I asked a supervisor at TMUS why the drops were so, he couldn’t answer. I’ll never recommend TMUS. I get those texts would you recommend and always giving 1s. Lol.
