One of my favorite people to listen to. Everyone always talks about the hard work, innovation, decision making, learning, and people skills that lead to success. What no one ever talks about is the shady stuff that brought success. The bribes, lawyers, pr firms, extortion, screwing employees, lies, and other stuff that directly affects cash flow that brought success. If there’s one person who would be honest about that though it’s Cuban.

  • @NuttedInYoMom

A Business does NOT have to be run in a shady/scam way to be Successful. You can have a Successful business while being totally upfront, honest, and good Morally. If it ever grows to a HUGE company, chances are that you might hire on some bad apples, but nevertheless you and your Company as a Whole WONT be shady. You should start your own business and Not continue waiting twiddling your thumbs, or the years will pass you by getting you Nowhere Great in life.

You've got to become amazing at something. That's it. That's the secret to success. The reason is human beings in general become more efficient at everything every passing year and that's what causes inflation. The difference nowadays between getting a general education vs a specialized education has become astronomical to the point now where a general education cannot even give someone the productivity in society to beat inflation. So they are becoming poverty class. You MUST get a specialized education. And as Mark says, you need to learn about something you want to become amazing at. He was learning while most people were just being consumers. He was nurturing his ability to be a producer in society.
