I've enjoyed your reactions to John ..... thank you. He has just had major surgery, including a partial jaw reconstruction, so if you read this, he's gonna need all our love and support. If he never again sings, at least we have over 50 years worth of music from him . I just hope he recovers to enjoy time with his family ❤

Yep he was about 62 when he did the acoustic chapel songs, they are brilliant but that,’s our Farnsey.
John has crafted his voice over 50+ years into something special. Amazing , the musicians and back up singers are world class too. Two thumbs up🇦🇺👍🏻🇦🇺👍🏻

Farnsey. Aussie living legend. Anything live by him is awesome😀
Released about 2011 when he would have been about 62! He had a hand in writing this and ir was released when he was with LRB back in the 80s!

One of the best male Singer in the World. Please react to John singing when the war is over from a live show called the last time, its from 2003. One of the best live performence ive ever heard in my life. His voice is truly from heaven send.

I missed this acoustic version but love that you found it for me. Anything by Farnsey at any age is great. He's just one of the boys (a very talented one) and we Aussies love him for that.

Thanks for this. I know this was a successful recording for John, but I haven't heard this particular rendition. The music was fabulous. And John is always fabulous. He would have been in his fifties I think when recording this. One of the great things about John is that he always treasures and acknowledges the musicians who work with him. I recognise some of the faces as being people who have been with him on the journey. There are plenty of John's songs to enjoy.
Excellent musicians gravitate to 'Farnie' because his performances are the centre of excellence. Here in his 60's and the voice just getting BETTER. LOVE it! His songs are timeless.
That was one amazing production from top to bottom. We always expect top shelf from Farnham but this entire ensemble was above and beyond.

His best performances were from 1986 to 1994. His live concerts are so much better than his recorded studio albums. His Little River Band performance - 1981 to 1986 are amazing. John's, Cool Change, in my opinion, is the best version.

What's the point! Can't go see them play because the men of Australia have lost heir balls, have to wear a bloody muzzle even if somehow a show was allowed to go ahead and vaccine bloody passports coming all over an exaggerated flu

I think John may have been about 60 in this one. As you can see, he's lost none of his vocal ability. Now you know why we call him "The Voice" and love him so much. He is a genuinely nice guy and Aussie legend.xx
