Hi Alan, oh how I wish I could, maybe someday..life gets in the way sometimes as we know. But in the meantime I have JD to listen to. Your words were very inspirational, tho, thank you!😊

John Denver seemed to keep mortality in mind throughout his music, to appreciate our limited time, appreciate this very moment, regardless of age. Funny songs like "When I'm 64", "..the coming of the winter, the fear it is within you now, it seems to never end." of "Rhymes & Reasons" Of course"Lost a friend but kept his memory " (although could mean "no longer a friend", but the finality seems otherwise). The plee within "Summer" - "Do your senses know changes when they come? Can you see yourself reflected in the seasons, can you understand the need to carry on?"

When we were stationed in Hawaii we saw you in concert. That was back in 1974! My husband was always gone out in the Pacific and I played Leaving on a Jet plane a lot! We still have your albums and CDs and play them on trips to visit our kids! Love the album with your Greatest Hits!

That's beautiful feeling, when we walk among the trees, grasses, and bushes breathing that there air different aromas touch our brain and feelings through our noses, we have our senses to feel this nature around us, actually we are part of nature from billions of years ago and our senses bridge and keep us connected to where we belong to, it's not by surprise we have our senses.
