When he couldn’t remember the next verse that made me like him even more! He didn’t get flustered or upset. He just laughed it off! That was great! I don’t know how any singer can remember all their songs all the time!

John's voice was so pleasant with a distinction no one can match. His songs always had a message be them funny or serious

I liked it when he laughed off the wrong verse in the Gift you Are. What a classy man. What a talent. He truly was a gift to us. RIP John. You are now and will always be sadly missed!

John Denver's crystal clear tenor was his greatest asset for all of his professional career. His song "For You" was certainly one of the most beautiful love songs ever written!! Thank you for posting! (P.S. Don't be so hard on Cassandra! I am sure she was overwhelmed by John! They were very much in love for a while. No one knows what goes on between lovers. They were together for more than 6 years) The song "The Flower That Shattered the Stone" was actually a lead by Olivia Newton-John, with John dueting with her. One of his beautiful recordings at app 14:32. All in all, a great selection!

I have read many comments about Cassie and her “stone face”. Check out the video of John’s appearance on Donahue back in ‘78 when he was on the show and Annie was in the audience. He sang Annie’s Song and her face was stone face too. Why is Annie forgiven and Cassie isn’t? Yes…Cassie had that interview with an Australian magazine (? I believe it was) where she shared about some hard times with John. Why is she demonized? John did show his angry side by the use of a chainsaw cutting up furniture. Yet he is excused as being flawed but still loved. Cassie and Annie are flawed too yet Annie is loved and respected and Cassie isn’t.

the fine, talented pianist through his tones, which are always bubbling, somehow tries to trivialize the subject of love and betrays himself irrevocably and starts the program jellyfish = suffer the invisible selection according to your mood Thank you 🙏💕🙏 goes to Mr. John Denver

How could Cassandra be so stone-faced and show no emotion or love for John? No wonder the marriage didn't last, and he was so desperately lonely and unhappy. RIP John. You were loved ❤

You don't know what she was feeling or not feeling. She might have heard the song fifty times already, or was not comfortable showing her personal emotions on camera.
