Carpenter is one of my favorite directors of all time. He has so many great movies under his belt. Halloween, Starman, Big Trouble In Little China, Prince Of Darkness, Assault On Precinct 13, Escape From New York, Christine and many others. The only Carpenter film I was never that fond of is Ghosts Of Mars, but I love every other film he’s done.

For some reason, this movie and it's music has haunted me since I first saw it when it first came out. I don't know, but maybe the look in Jenny's eyes when she saw Starman resurrect the deer.
