John Bercow has said the House of Commons will sit tomorrow morning as he welcomed the Supreme Court's judgement that Boris Johnson's prorogation of Parliament was "unlawful".
Speaking after the unanimous result by a panel of 11 judges who ruled Mr Johnson's advice to the Queen to prorogue Parliament until October 14 was unlawful, he said MPs would sit tomorrow.
"I have instructed the house authorities to prepare not for the recall - the prorogation was unlawful and is void - to prepare for the resumption of the House of Commons."
The Speaker of the House said he had instructed steps to be taken to ensure that the House will sit tomorrow at 11.30am.
