Them trying to make a big deal out of Spacey trying to shake hands through his fly is absurd. That's a typical dude-bro prank guys pull on each other. I think Kevin Spacey has Aspergers. I thought about it and it does ad up with his amazing skill at acting and making impresion. Which makes the whole thing the more tragic, Kevin Spacey is not a predator, he's just somebody who has real problems geting along with people and probably finding a partener... Just think about it in his mind he just tries to make a move on people to whom his atracted, not understanding why such things might be inappropiat. And besides that he can't get a normal life and relationship, now his carrer (for which he worked so much) is destroyed.

I don't think laughing about the whole Spacey situation is the appropriate way to be talking about it. He's a very disturbed person who preyed on minors. Seems like Spacey didn't really do anything to this Joel guy, but yet he's talking as if he's suddenly the center of the story instead of keeping the focus on the ACTUAL victims. Spacey targeted people he knew he could overpower, so he probably would not have come on to this Joel guy; real predators like him are much smarter than that. This whole interview just seemed like "oh hey bro, yeah I know that rapist, he smiled at me once, true story".

Alexander Inget exactly. And it's also nice to have someone talk about their own experiences and not act like some moral superiority and talk about some victim's experience as if they know what it was like going through it or have any businesses using it to virtue signal. He just shared his experience which is what we are all qualified to do. Amd it is interesting as we all wonder what it would be like to one day find out some big celebrity we worked with for 2 years turns out to be a child abuser or rapist or murderer or whatever.

Totally. Besides, when I've seen other actors (Patricia Clarkson, for example) asked about this and they all say they were not surprised about the news, I wonder what they're referring to: him being homosexual or being a sexual predator. I find it extremely disturbing because I have the feeling that they give more importance to the fact he was outed (he also seemed to be more worried about that) or even that they link both things and trivialize the whole situation. I am the one who's shocked that no one reported this before, and I don't mean the victims, but the people who had heard about it or knew it. Spacey must have been an influential actor, but he's still an actor, he's not a mogul like Harvey Weinstein, ffs.

I know right?! Men are sooo toxic, I wish we only had women! (because it's not toxic AT ALL to demonize 50% of the population) Oh well, might as well demonize all men as either incompetent idiots or out of control rapists! It's not as if the statistics on homes without a father show that men actually have just as vital of a role in society as women, and that 70% of all suicides come from people without dads, 90% of all runaways, etc. No, let's blame all men for everything! Jesus. There is a reason feminism has become such a joke - there is nothing to "understand" about modern feminism - it is no longer about equality, it is about a massive Blame Game in which everyone is ranked by their immutable characteristics on the intersectional Oppression Hierarchy (straight white male? obvious rapist and plague on society! black trans woman? all hail the victim of our horrible society!). We should just treat people as human beings, instead of engaging in these postmodern power games. It's dehumanizing and polarizing.

Dumb and intelligent men both dislike third-wave feminism alike. Dumb people often have some common sense or intuition for some reason and get things right sometimes. Intelligent people logically understand why the movement is deeply ''problematic'' as feminists would say. In practice, that is. Intellectually mediocre people are ones are the ones who stand behind it and are involved in the moment. Mediocre sheep often have less common sense than dumb fucks. 1st and 2nd wave feminism were both good movements however. Rooted in compassion and not weakness and resentment.
