    The reason this interview is so good is that the host let Joel talk and didn't interrupt him with fake laughing or interjecting himself into Joel's story. In other words, he listened!

    I don't understand how Americans can see feminism as extremist. What's so shocking about wanting equality between the sexes? And further to that, what's so shocking about wanting equality between all races too?

  • @DrCalviny

    @DrCalviny

    Equality in what sense? Equal opportunity is definitely something that everyone should have. Equality of outcome is wrong though. Thats what 3rd wave feminism wants. What 3rd wave feminism does is weaken women. They tell women that they arent capable of achieving success and blame it on some external factors. Women are very much as competent as men and they need to figure out how to get their shit together just like men. However, they're gonna have to work hard just like men to achieve success.

    English is taught in our schools from a very early age, and as a people we detest dubbing for the most part (children's shows and cartoons are fine, anything else and you'll get the stink eye if you even change the original title of the movie) so learning English is rather natural to us, especially since the Internet became such a big thing, but also well before that.

    okay, that was fun to watch while understanding everything now xD I must say, I dont like it, if I am not getting jokes, just because I dont understand the language. So... wonderful interview! XD I had to laught a lot and I think I am finally in the mood to watch the rest of THE KILLING season ONE and so on. :) Altered Carbon was a good tv-show. Would give 4 of 5 stars, because I am not into watching naked woman in full screen all the time, but the changes in the tv show are making quite sense now. I was really mad about Kovac, after he let his chance for revenge on his sister pass, since she killed Kristins family afterwards. That was so crazy. I couldnt forgive a familymember that killed my lover and their beloved once just to have me for him- or herself. Thats totally crazy. But I must say, in the end (better said in the whole sum) the plot was well done and I am looking forward to buy the tv-show as soon as I see it in a shop. :) Altered Carbon was like a mix of "SELF/LESS", "Ghost in the Shell" and the new "Blade Runner" Movie. Atmosphere was futuristic and realistic at the same time. Really a good job.

  • @mikaeljansson8784

    Oh we´re pretty neutral towards Romania. I certainly don´t know of anyone disliking Romania in particaular. I´m just saying the way he most likely meant it was that a marriage was the last thing to expect from that particular place. What he did was simply to name the most random thing that came to mind, for comedic effect. The country named is irrelevant. I guess maybe the joke wouldn´t pack as big of a punch if he had said "imported kidney". Either way, if the guy was Romanian and joked about "swedish kidney this and that.." I would find it equally funny.

    Great actor. The TV show The Killing had almost a Mulder and Scully feel (The X-Files), Kinnamon and Enos were a great team.... then the writers decided to stretch out the storyline and water down the plot into another season. Really a shame what they did to a series that had so much potential that was squandered because of lazy writing.

    All of the abuse was common knowledge yet no one did anything and threatened the victims. Victims are still being threatened and not believed by some people and people take the side of the abusers especially those with families who say that the truth hurts the abusers families etc... Me Too has only just begun in the future hopefully it will have made a big difference.
