Gillian Landry I am now 68 years old. From the age of 10 to 14 I was raped and molested by my brother. Through therapy many years ago I FINALLY dealt with it, i also forgave him. But when I read things like this it brings back long forgotten memories. Unless this happened to you,you have NO IDEA what it's like, what a rude thoughtless thing to say, especially to those of us who have been through it.

Phuck, do you know every single homosexual in the world to claim that? also, he had stated that he is bisexual not homosexual. also, going by your logic isn't it fair then to imply that the damaged and abusers are the heterosexual parents who made their kid gay? I think then that would make a majority of heterosexuals been the actual damaged people.

Who cares if he wants to dress as Rod Stewart? What I find disturbing is the abuse the poor man endured. This world is made up of many different souls and people... just because it is different from your norm does not make it wrong. Lets see what you would dress like if having experienced such a disturbing childhood. OPEN YOUR MIND!!!! MAKE THE WORLD A BETTER AND MORE UNDERSTANDING PLACE.... Peace out.

Kevin began acting at an early age. Becoming another person as often as you can is escape. That’s probably why Kevin is so brilliant in his acting; he throws himself into it. Bury that ‘other person’ deep within yourself, and during that period of time you don’t have to be ‘you’. I never knew Kevin had a brother or sister. Seeing Randy I’d say his whole persona has become his escape from the boy he was. He doesn’t want that boy to exist anymore. Kevin once said as a child his #1 goal was always to make his mother laugh. From what I just saw laughs weren’t plentiful in their house. As Randy tried to protect Kevin and their sister I’d say Kevin’s desire to make his mother laugh was his way, as a child, to try and protect her as he could.

I was also severely abused mentally and physically. I was a class clown from around 1st grade. That’s when the abuse started. My fiance always says I would be a good actor. Apparently everyone says I can also be a professional singer. I’ve heard that musicians perform better when they have heart-break or another sad situation. I have told people in the past that my humor was an escape. School alone was an escape from the house of horrors. I have always had very high empathy, so I wouldn’t dare hurt anyone

Our Cellar Door Hold up. Gailey (Polanski victim), was NOT coerced by her mom. Gailey lied to her mom & went out with Polanski, little did she know Polanski had ulterior motives. Polanski was a grown man, he KNEW what he was doing, she was THIRTEEN - 13. A 13 yr old girl is under an "obedience, follow the leader" mindset. It does NOT matter if she came onto him or not (which she did not), but Polanski was ALWAYS in control, or should have been. Polanski raped Gailey with pre-meditated notions - period. Gailey was innocent & a rape victim no one stood up for - you remember that. No one has the right to blame a child. A grown man has a conscience & decision making skills. A child is still learning. Don't you dare blame that once little girl or her mother.

+Lies, damn lies, and stats Well they refer to it as a party but that's deceptive. Spacey befriended Rapp and then invited him to a party in his house. When Rapp turned up, Spacey was the only person there and was clearly very drunk. Well in my childhood I went to adult parties all the time as most kids do, then we just hang about with each other while the adults get drunk and pester our parents to take us home. If Rapp sold it as a friendly work social to his parents then I can see them being okay with it.

As a guy, I hate it when people devalue or dismiss a woman or child's claim of being a victim. I really hate that guys think they can get away with something because they're sexual urges were "uncontrollable". Just because a woman causes us to get an erection that's no reason to jump on top of her. And if an underage girl walks by & we think she is pretty, that's no reason to pursue her. Men in Pakistan & Afghanistan think like that. Having been born with a penis & the emotions that come with it does not us the right to have control or power over any woman. Us men need to learn how to control our urges, not use them as "sheild" or excuse to assume control over women, no matter what her actions may be. (I'm not addressing one person, but many).

I absolutely believe that KS was abused as a kid; that he suffered whatever his brother suffered. Having seen multiple shows about it over the 70s, the 80s, the 90s, the 00s, sexual abusers don't keep it to one kid - they like to spread it around. And this abusive father was likely abused as a child. Does this "excuse" KS? No, but it's an explanation.

There's a longer interview with him. He is a limo driver called Rod's Limo. Actually, he is very knowledgeable and interesting. He's and explains why he dresses as he does in the long interview and said that he's kept the same hair style since the 80's. He accidentally fell into the Limo bit and then people requested him and liked his "rock-star" look. It's funny, but those who are most seemingly crazy and open on the outside are far less disturbed than those who hide themselves within and appear so well adjusted on the outside. His brother, for instance.

The entire mystery could rise or fall on his answer about the outfit. Maybe they did and he said something of zero importance, "I have a gig right after this. This is not what I normally wear." But even then, once the piece ends, the news people have to say, "If you're wondering, we DID ask about that wild outfit..." etc. Terrible segment producing. Breaks my heart.

Why why was this teen allowed at a party with adults at an adult party with alcohol involved? Is being abused by your parents give you the right to go on and abuse others the way you were abused? There have been people who badly abused but grew up and turned their life and others with dignity and changed the viscous cycle of abuse. I am so sorry for the victims.

Kevin is a phenomenal actor, but has a darkness about him I always found very off putting. Molestation is an infectious disease. It seems that women who are abused as children don't seem to repeat the cycle as readily where as men seem to fall to the cycle all too easily. It makes me wonder if we couldn't study the differences between men and women and come up with some idea as to why this is. Typically little girls are abused by older men and typically little boys are abused by older men. To me there is a common denominator . Women attach such strong emotions to sex where as most men do not. I think if we could possibly teach men to be emotional frorm a young age rather than telling them to act more manly perhaps we could make some progress?

When he said " I'd love to hear from my brother " u know he was hoping Kevin would see this & he was letting him know he is open to a relationship esp adding " were family " it's sad I heard he Said he never had kids b/c he didn't want another generation from his family. Ks never had any kids I think he said only the sister has 2 kids. Sadly none of the 3 talk. I imagine that the other 2 siblings Kevin & their sister just want to forget what happened I the house. I was surprised to hear that randy said Kevin still talked to their mom & so did he so it's sad that having their mom alive & both in contact w/ her didn't connect the brothers. Usually if both kids talk to the mom it keeps them tied in some way. Sadly the last place they saw the other was the moms funeral so that's really sad b/c if they have not talked since that why would they ever ?

The horror of all this sexual abuse of children is that if a person was sexually abused as a child and they don't face the fact that the Adult/Adults who did this to them were vile.. and face all the emotions and harm the sexual abuse brought to them... they will always carry the pain and sometimes turn that pain by giving it to other children. It's like a virus.... either you deal with it or you become an abuser yourself!! And it goes on and on throughout humanity for years.

predators in the church, predators in hollywood, predators in the job, its good people come forward. heres the last bastion: the last brick, that wall that has to be teared down, the ones where predators are the safest: Bcs their victims have the most personal reason to be quiet about it and where these predators live a happy life and are never been charged: this last bastion is called: family.!!! heres here predators dont get accused, bcs who wants their family be in the spot of an investigation. we all have to learn that we have to separate that. a person that harasses someone, not matter if its the wife, the child, the husband, the sibling, the uncle, any kind of relative should be just seen as a person that hits a person, a person that harrasses a person, a person, that rapes a person, a person that commits a crime, and that is to be charged. and that shame is only on the one who did the crime, and that its strength, to seperate from these persons, that they learn the consequences of their behaviour. That its strong, to seperate from that person.

I'm an only child and it was always a dream to have a sibling but I hear these types of stories all the time. Siblings not speaking to one another after they move out or instance. I just don't get it but I guess I'm lucky. It would hurt to have a sibling that does not want anything to do with me.

Don't be so obtuse. If Kevin Spacey WAS a victim then at least there is some ground work to understand his actions. Does it make him innocent? Fuck no. Does it make what he did any less frightening? No. But WOULD he have done it had he been given another life? We don't know. Sometimes, the worst thing for a child is to be given a broken home.

@Katy Cox you're right - I'm not going to argue you that which is why I wouldnt chastise him publically but I knew something was up with Kevin Spacey when two seperate people who had never met told me an identical story of Kevin Spacey at LA parties. Here's a hint, he was almost always surrounded by young men/boys. Sometimes, things are exactly what they seem. You don't have to believe me, I get it, but we'll see.

How does being a victim of abuse make you more guilty?! Oh yes, I forgot, it does. Because society is the same bloodthirsty bitch as you are. Paradoxically this expectation of "vampire effect" combined with utterly NO support for victims really does make victims more likely to turn into abusers themselves.
