37 years clean and sober Oct 19 2022 by the Grace of God and a awesome wife!!!!!!!

I was honored to be able present my dad his 40-year chip last year week. I have only missed a few presentations over the years. Deployed, living out of state etc. I was blessed to see his 1st year chip too although he was a week late getting due marrying my mom. I may not have his DNA or name but for 40 of my 54 years he has been my dad.

I'm 29 years sober on April 14th. So Grateful!

This number means so much to me. I have, one day at a time, been sober since 1985 but I always remember what a friend once told me. 'Time is not important, it is one day at a time and remember the further you are away from your last drink the closer you are to the next.' Alcohol is a sly and devious enemy, never leave your guard down. Congratulations to all those who are still sober today. Love from me.

Just found this song and love it. I knew some of the artist that have sobriety, but was surprised by some. By the grace of God, I have been sober for 29 years and it seems like a totally different life and it was. Don't think that I would be alive today if I hadn't surrendered and lost many friends and family to the demon of addiction.

Thanks for the inspiration. 64 years old here; 19 years alcohol and smoke free and still going strong. The keys to success for me thus far are to never get cocky or ever let my guard down. Clearly, if I didn't quit both and not already dead, I'd be on a kidney transplant list, oxygen tanks or both.

I witnessed a miracle this week. Jason son of a deceased sober dad, went to his first meeting and was surrounded by the program. Been to 6 meetings in 4 days and is overwhelmed by hope. Sean, 35 years.

A previous version of this video has been shown in recent years before the pandemic at the Atlanta Men's Workshop, which meets twice a year in March and October at Rock Eagle near Eatonton, Georgia.
