What cool last name he had too! I'm willing to bet he was of Polish heritage and his last name would of been 'Żuber'....which literally means Buffalo. Poland was (still might be...) the only place, in the entirety of Europe, that has some untouchef native/old growth forests which are home to Buffalo (żubers) and wolf (Wilk...which was my bestie's last name. No... ,actually my bestie of besties last name was Hanf...Polish names can be misleading....mine is Deren😂....my name translates to Cornell, a darn plant. So a lot of nature inspired). They also make a vodka by that name, bc they're very happy and proud to be the only ones to have these beasts. Kudos to all the teachers who touch our lives and inspire us for the rest of our lives.

Several years ago I had the pleasure to meet Mr.Tyson. I was his driver when he came to town for 4 different trips. I normally never want to "bother" the celebrities when I have them, but I tried to squeeze out every bit of convo I could while I had him hostage in my vehicle lol. Nothing too deep, but he is genuinely one of the nicest guys you could ever meet. He did a sold out show here in town, and as I patiently waited for the security to bring him out of the side alley way entrance afterwards, he came to make sure I was there to get him back to his hotel. There was a bar directly across the street that many had gone to after the show. A few people realized he had just came out of the building and rushed across the street to say hi and ask for pictures. Most celebrity types get in the car head down so fast noone ever sees them, but he stood out there at a late hour after a long show and talked very generously to the small crowd of people. They were all so excited and happy they got to meet him. After about 15 minutes he got into the vehicle again to go back to the hotel. I felt like the lucky one that I had him all to myself to chat a bit more. The next morning I picked him up and drove him to the airport and off he went. Again, just as nice as anyone could possibly be, and a very generous tipper as well. I have met quite a few people far more "famous" than he is, but to me he really stood above them all. Joe Rogan, please get him back on your show soon!!!!!

Joe doesn't answer much about it lol not sure he's ON THT LEVEL. But really at 33:42 Joe Rogan the real "woo" thing that Neil was revealing to us went right over your bald head because you heard the word "observe". 1 photon changing just because it is being observed is not "woo", true Joe. Thanks for dispelling that myth every time you hear it. But don't let making that point render you deaf to the real "woo" point Neil was making: THE OTHER PHOTON CHANGES INSTANTLY. That's woo af. Earlier you said your teacher told you the universe is infinite. Now imagine that second photon is placed as far out into infinity as you can imagine... You change one and the other changes instantly. That's woo. That's like a communication teleporting. TELEPORTING. SAYING, "FUCK THE SPEED OF LIGHT, FUCK ALL NORMAL LAWS OF PHYSICS, FUCK THAT NORMAL SLOW METHOD OF 'TRAVELING FROM HERE TO THERE IN A STRAIGHT LINE' IM JUST GONNA TELEPORT THIS MESSAGE". They have a name for it, maybe that takes a bit of the "woo" out of it for ya. It's called non-locality. Dr. Amit Goswami tried to explain it to you many podcasts ago. Yes don't worry, there's still some woo left in the universe even after the observer effect is dewooified.

Yeah, Tyson was overjoyed when Sean Davis blew the whistle on his bull shit. /s www.washingtonpost.com/news/volokh-conspiracy/wp/2014/09/27/neil-degrasse-tyson-admits-he-botched-bush-quote/ Neil deGrasse Tyson was pretty much forced to acknowledge his false account of Bush's 9-11 speech. It was getting lots of publicity and it was very obvious he was wrong. However other examples of his wrong history have been brought to attention. And he's done nothing to acknowledge his errors or counter the misinformation he has spread.

Bless that mans soul. I love that philosophy. Too many teachers fall into the category of understanding that they are indeed under paid and know they have years on end til they can earn a pension so they fall into the loop hole of losing the passion that had them pursue a career in education in the first place.. teachers like the one you mentioned simply love to teach and that’s amazing.
