@Cup353 Joe Navarro actually says this in his lectures and books, a lot of nonverbals are subtle and sometimes only take half a second - the pictures that I see in this video are not really exaggerated as you say, even they were, they show what to look for. You may wanna read his book "What Every BODY is Saying"

Yeah, he says in the book you have to be very careful applying this stuff, and put it in context. I think he would call what you do a kind of preening, drawing attention to your neck muscles, and it would show confidence.

@zionchild83 He never said anything about there being a language that is 100 thousand years old, which there is obviously not. He was talking about the beginning of verbal communication, which began 100 thousand years ago at the very least.

@nwowarrior I think you'll find to infer a design in the way which navarro does, does not mean that it comes down to whether we evolved or were created by God. What he instead is trying to suggest that NATURE has given us the base for which body language readers go off, which is the limbic system in the brain. Our brain has shown signs of being DEVELOPED over THOUSANDS of years to which Navarro is refering to.

@scottybroker In the books i've read by Navarro, after every cue demonstrated he either states where the information has been gathered from or to remember the context and use it as a tell, not baseline fact as to what the person you are observing is thinking. As to the relevance about no scientific fact about the planet existing over 8 thousand years and neo-darwinists, can i ask where this fact has been formulated from? and to scientific evidence; carbon dating, fossils, ice samples and more :)

i know of no hard scientific evidence concerning the planet even existing over 8 thousand years. Even neo-darwinists are jumping ship While some of his material is dead on. But keep in mine, body cues (body language) must be taken in context. A person leaning forward in his chair MAY NOT necessarily be in a hurry to leave. He/She might be very interested in what is being said. scottybroker1

I no longer believe in evolution since I asked my professors whether evolution was a theory or proven fact. Answers: It is not a proven fact; it is still only a theory! Other than this, I enjoyed the lecture since I work in the public sector.

Most stupid thing i have heard in a while! So you don't believe since its a theory? Well do you accept gravity, cause that's a theory as well. That is what theories are for. In the language of science, the word "theory" is used to describe an explanation of why and how things happen.

  • @Graanvlok

The word "theory" in science has a different meaning than in everyday English. In science a "theory" as you understand it would be called an "hypothesis".

@@Samsadist You can't really prove much of anything. You're right. Einstein's theory of relativity, etc. Rearch only "indicates" that something is true.
