I always thought he said Heffer's head was like a Pringles can. That always made more sense to me.

Just saw the hilarious milking machine clip 2 hours ago, and now Joe is talking about it. Life complete.

Heffer had to be my favorite on the show. I love Heffer.

I watched Rocko's Modern Life when I was 8-11, and recently it's been put into rotation again on the Nicktoons channel. Watching the series again in my 20s has been like watching it for the first time in many ways. There were a ton of jokes that went over my head that I can appreciate now (even some non-innuendo stuff). Rocko's Modern Life was one of the best shows on the network, and the best of the 90s Nicktoons. Thanks to you and your crew very much for such a great show.

omg awesome! As I said I used to watch this as a child, and I never quite got some of the innuendos until later re-watching a lot of the show, and I can't believe how not only is it STILL funny, but its even greater to watch as an adult! Heffer was one of my fave characters! It's great to see his shape broken down, I never realized!

one of my favorite episodes of rockos modern life is when heffer invited rocko on their house for dinner and rocko said " i didnt know heffer was adopted" then the pack of wolves looked at rocko in an awkward way. then hef said " im adopted?!" ALSO there is an episode on rocko in a jack hammer competition named "JACK-ALL-U-WANT" im serious about this one

Lol I think I remember that episode, it was funny. I didnt really understand it then, but NOW it makes sense! Im surprised you guys got away with so much! Looking at todays toons, theres nothing going on like that. I remember one episode where rocko and heffer take some kind of road trip, and they find a 'no tell hotel' with wah-wah beds lol! NOW i understand that lol!!

The milking machine Joe's talking about in the episode was a great scene. Unfortunately, Nickelodeon cut that scene, as well as the the scene where he says goodbye to the milking machine. It wasn't even revived in the Season one DVD.

Nice and informative video Mr.Murray.lol Hot dog mouth, and oh God I remember the milking scene of that episode, yes leave it to the imagination . ;-)

No Joe. Please tell us what they hooked Heffer up to!

Joe once said that he regarded Rocko as the hardest of the bunch to draw, but Heffer seems to be the hardest for me in terms of getting the proportions right. I will say that Rocko is harder than Lazlo in that with Lazlo I can draw him in one layer, whereas with Rocko I have to do the thing where you draw basic shapes in light blue and then the refined, final body in black.

Guys, it already came out! And I’m going to Joe Murray’s studio to help him create a new Rocko’s Modern Life series called “Rocko’s Super Modern Hero Life.” And I plan to voice Bev Bighead in that cartoon as well.

It's great that you can draw your own characters, unlike a few "cartoonists". I don;'t want to name names, but Matt Groening, Jim Davis....
