LOL, That was me as well. :) Same with the other drawings they showed on Nick.

I remember watching this when I was 5 and I rewound it and got a piece of paper and drew it perfectly. My mom said I would make a great animator (I mean the person drawing the character for them to be animated.) My mom kept it and looking at it now while watching this. At 5, I was spot on. No mistakes!

Max Seuberlich memories I love this show still to this day. Wish it would come back to nick with new episodes maybe of Danny older.

I was in elementary school when this show aired, and I remember this commercial so vividly even after all these years! I'll never forget this show no matter how old I am

danny phantom is a great show coz one he and samantha are in love and most of the nickelodeon cartoons are still going and i would give up my whole life for the show to be put back on the air and sell them seasons in australia coz ive looked all over nsw lookig 4 one soo plz plz plz plz plz plz plz plz plz plz PLZ PLZ PLZ PLZ PLZ bring the show back butch hartman please have a heart for us kids who love danny thank you and ill comment nagain from DPfanluver signing off cya l8r

I sometimes forget Butch Hartman can legit draw his characters to match the show, but even as a kid, it always bugged me seeing this that the drawing changes as I noticed Danny’s lips was drawn with a smile and a frown, like Butch made a mistake and had to redo it than finishing the original sketch.

i am a HUGE fan of Danny Phantom! But, did you notice when Butch Hartman was drawing his hair, when the camera zoomed in the left eye wasnt touching his hair and when the camera zoomed in the hair touched the left eye! I loved this byyyyye! ^u^

You know, I don't think I realise the inside of the D was a P until he mentioned it right now...that is pretty genius! lol

Katze: after watching this, I remember one of the reasonse I don't watch Nickalodian anymore. Nick doesnt really have that kid fun to it any more, and it doesn't have this. This is what I miss the most on Nick, I would always wait and wait for it to show the creaters so that way I could figure out how to draw the characters. Seeing the creaturs drawing their characters always inspired me to keep working on my stuff.

I'm a huge Danny Phantom fan, and once i read that maybe it will be continued, and i'm still waiting for that moment. i love your stories, but please, just a little more Danny :D there's a lots of kid out there who are want him back. even just a little, even just one episode with him now everybody know his secret :)) i beg you :D :D

Watching this after learning butch has left nick as of February 2nd 2018. As a kid you didnt have internet or know anything about the creators behind the shows, they were just faceless names on credits and title cards. As a kid this nick bumper was my first introduction to Butch and like a small glimpse into animation and drawing at a big studio. Thanks Butch i bid thee farewell. Remember when they used to show these all the time? This was back when I was a kid, when the cartoons were GOOD. Now, not so much. Also, kids nowadays don't care to create their own stuff. Geesh, once they quit Danny Phantom, society went straight downhill.

I went to the nick page on facebook and found barely any Danny Phantom stuff.as if the show wasn't worth anything to them and that nick barely made a Danny Phantom facebook page april 2011 after the show was on nick since about 2004.This made me realize that nick isnt giving this show much consideration. Danny Phantom has changed my life!This show actually showed me something!It made me feel brave it made me feel like it doesn't matter what others think.now that its gone nick doesnt matter to me

Actually if you look closely, the zoomed in and zoomed out shots are showing two different drawings. Look closely at Danny's head and right hand hand at both shots. They are sightly different.

he didn't even make the character designs himself, the guy that did them is named Steven Silver and he also did the designs for FOP, Kim Possible, and T.U.F.F. Puppy, Butch literally took credit you can tell the difference between the finalized designs and the pilot for FOP, if you watch the What-a-Cartoon pilot anyways it looks a lot different and I think that's Butch's actual style

I've been going at this for days then remember that he did videos like this and looked it up to see if he had any tricks to make drawing easy, but NO he is just a fucking god of the cartoons! Though, I did notice how he gave Danny thin eyebrows even though he has really thick eyebrows in the show.
