Loved her in the misfits with lita ford. She is quite a rocker for being a girl. She broke down many boundaries and stereotypes at that time. Her and pat benatar

I've never been a giant Foo Fighters fan but I'll always respect Dave a tremendous amount for his efforts to keep the music he grew up on alive and in the minds of a generation of new fans.

Joan Jett is a goddess. Also, her guitar tone is just perfect, so unbelievably punk

It's a huge, huge honor to see these great musicians together. Joan is absolutely the queen of punk rock, she looks better, younger and greater than almost any woman who tried to make the same things after her

Joan Jett blows....not in a good way

Dave is so humble and has so many times shown such love and respect to many Rock stars that came before him and influenced him that reminds us just how many "greats" there were and are, Dave forgets that he himself is now one of the "Greats"...

I saw Joan Jett live a few years ago and she's still a badass. The Queen of Noise.

Dave Grohl has got to be one of the most level headed, humble and sincere rock-n-roller of EVER.

A lot of rockers are very down-to-Earth. I saw Another Animal (Godsmack without Sully) and AlterBridge at a crappy little venue in Youngstown, Ohio a few years ago. Another Animal finishes their set and AlterBridge comes on. I turn around from the bar and the bassist and drummer from Godsmack/AA are just leaning against the wall watching AlterBridge. I walked up to them and introduced myself and they could not have been more accommodating.

If you can't get behind this performance you know nothing about rock n roll. Joan Jett is the real deal and there isn't anyone better to stand in for Kurt. Those moments of the song, her voice, Pat, Dave killing it...man, I'm not sure how it gets any better than that. Pure raw emotion. Love it.

Saw Joan Jett opening for Heart a few years ago at Chastain Park in Atlanta...NO ONE wanted Joan Jett to leave the stage !!!

Very first piece of music I ever owned in my LIFE was I Love Rock n Roll. Given to me on a little 45 record when I was like 3. And to this day, Joan’s voice is the raddest, most rock n roll sound I’ve ever heard.

She is the reason we rock.

The first time I listened to this song was 40 years ago, I didn’t expect it to be heard now! Grandmother is too strong!

I'm a big Queen fan and on 5th June 1982 I saw them at Milton Keynes Bowl. Joan jet was one of the support bands. my God she can rock. usually none headline bands are not very good but she got the whole crowd rocking. she was incredible

But as a rule, when people cuss so much, they don't have much to say. The Departed. Fantastic Movie. But I only gave it 3.5 Stars, instead of 4, because of 347 f curses.

Its Gibson 's "Pelham Blue".. came mostly on the low budget Melody Makers which is why a 1960's era "Standard" SG, ES, etc in PB costs about 3xs what the other colors will cost ya...when the Nitro-Cellulose lacquer ages, it turns a creamy yellow.... that "clear" yellow over the blue makes an awesome! greenish-blue that is highly coveted among vintage guitar dealers and collectors. You can actually buy it that way now from the custom shop or buy some "Vintage Amber" and "Aged Clear " from Stew Mac and create the look yourself.. Custom shop does a great job at getting it close, but nothing really does it like it actually aging out that way- of coarse it'll take 30 years for it to do it naturally.. But you can now buy any Gibson in Pelham Blue. Hope the info helps!
