    I’m a casual FF fan, and a huge LZ fan; I had no idea that Dave and Taylor had done a couple songs live with JP and JPJ. TAYLOR FUCKING KILLED IT!! This is definitely one of the best LZ covers I’ve ever heard. Rest In Peace, Taylor.

    So cool. Dave has played in two incredible bands and has played in front of millions,but he knows he's performing with rock royalty. Rock and Roll respect. Unlike some rappers who think they are the next Beatles, Hendrix, or James Brown.

    This is how I would want to remember Mr Hawkins - constantly looking over his own shoulder at one of the greatest lead guitar players of all time, at one of the greatest bass players of all time, and at his own band mate, one of the greatest drummers of all time, then facing the audience and perhaps not realizing his own greatness. RIP Mr Hawkins.

    The smile on Dave's face at the start of the song shows how he fully appreciates the moment he was in. Growing up listening to Zep and being influenced by John Bonham to be on stage 30 years later playing Rock-n-Roll with Jimmy Page and John Paul Jones at Wembley Stadium did not go unappreciated.

    Page can dress as he wants...his hair can turn white...he can age somewhat gracefully. But as soon as his Gibson Les Paul comes to life you immediately know who's playing it. And it's been this way for 53 years now. Stunning.

    He has grown to be a quite reflective and appreciative man as he has aged. Much more respectful of others in general it appears and he does love climbing on stage. The roar of the crowd draws him.

    Taylor also sang this song at the Kennedy Center Honors ... when Led Zeppelin was honored back in 2012. Dave also played drums. Both did a fantastic job!!

    In case anyone out there didn't know Taylor does have his own band; 'Chevy metal' they're basically a cover band, but Taylor fronts the band usually singing while playing the drums, and also various other musicians well guest jam with them, Dave G of course being one of them, among others from time to time. Just putting the info out there for anyone who wasn't aware?

    Idk during the solo he got a little red in the face he was ripping but he just wasn't finishing the notes how he wanted maybe a gear setup thing .. he ended up destroying expectations after celebration day showed he lost nothing

    Taylor killed vocals and Dave killed drums. The Zep boys look like they were having fun. That’s what music is all about. It doesn’t have to be perfect, we’re not robots, and music has been processed so much in this day and age to take the human life,emotion, and rawness out of it. This performance was awesome 👏 🤘

    My sincerest condolences to Taylor's family, friends and bandmates. I really appreciated this performance. Taylor did an outstanding job on the vocals, in my opinion. Led Zeppelin was one of my top favorite bands and this collaboration was awesome.

    As a young teenage boy I used to play along to Zeppelin - banging old magazines with a couple of dinner knives - seeing myself as John Bonham. I can imagine Dave Grohl having done something similar - so, it's no wonder he's grinning from ear-to-ear. Go for it Dave!

    I was there that night. There were rumours that they were planning a surprise. No shit. I’ve been to some fantastic gigs in my time; final Jam gig in Brighton, Stereophonics in Cardiff and this year Chili Peppers in LA but the Foos at Wembley, Saturday June 7 2008 was the best of the lot. Sadly never to be repeated now.

    The amount of badassery on that stage is impossible to calculate. You've got one of the greatest guitar players of all time, one of the greatest bass players of all time, and TWO of the greatest drummers of all time. Three of the four are top-10 at their craft and Hawkins will be way up there by the time his catalog of work is complete.

    I don't think either of them could be called 'one of the greatest drummers of all time'. Although Led Zeppelin had easily one of the best guitarists of all time, easily one of the best vocalists of all time, easily one of the best drummers of all time, and easily one of the best rock musicians in general (as well as bassists) of all time.

One could easily make the case that not one rock drummer is top-10, including Bonham, if you hold jazz drummers in high esteem.     Absolutely love it, Jimmy is still striking the guitar badass poses, albeit with a slight tongue in cheek grin. John Paul Jones acting cool, but admiring the large crowd/the moment. Dave is having the time of his life, as is Taylor. Just means a little more to see now that Taylor’s gone ❤😢
