I feel like JJ is shortchanging himself. Kobe was for SURE trying to pick up on anything from him. JJ was a better shooter from 3 than anybody Kobe ever played with, & I bet he DID pick a thing or 3 up from him. This was exactly when he started working more and more OFF the ball, as he had a willing passer in Pau as a big in the triangle... and his knees were already almost shot. He NEEDED to work more off-ball. Just like how, a couple of year before that, he went and worked on post footwork with Hakeem in offseasons.

So what. Averaging 12 points for a 15+ year career is better than most. Not everyone is a superstar, but he was an established journeyman and a National Player of the Year in College. He can say what he wants. He clearly knows the game as well based on his new show with LeBron.

Ummmm that's not necessarily something to laugh at, he averaged double figures playing against the greatest players in the world. There are only 2 rounds in the NVA Draft and most 2nd rounders don't even get signed. It's not that easy to make it to the league, then average double figures in scoring, despite barely getting any minutes his first 2 years.

This is all to make it seem like Bron had it harder. They know they can't use the ring argument anymore, so they that to change the narrative

@@Yeah_you_cant_guard_me Ok I'm glad to hear you respect the man. The goat debate will go on forever, but I was a kid in the 80's and I remember how it was. Larry, Michael, and Magic were all basically on the same level. If Jordan battled Bird, it was more of less an even match. Sure it's cool to have a great white guy, but Larry transcended race and hit more game winning shots than I've ever seen in my life.
