i'm 100% an old head, but love how intelligent the game has become. bball IQ & athleticism is off the charts. In 30 years a new generation will be here, that will make the current players look like the 90s do now, just like in the 90s, the 60s/70s looked weak. It's the cycle of evolution. Kids now days could smoke me with their footwork drills, we never did any of that crap, we just played, set screens and ran the plays. When you see a great athlete play, you can practice their moves. Kids now days will be practicing Joker, KD, Curry, Luka, etc., moves. No doubt about it current vs 90s straight up who would win. Same in football, soccer, or any sport.

I realise why Rui doesn’t get a lot mins, his X and Os aren’t there yet, still a way to go. Just yesterday in that last couple of plays down the stretch against the Pels, when Lakers came out the timeout Rui almost fked the play up by not getting to his position early, Bron was literally screaming and clapping for Rui to get to his spot, eventually which he did. lol, what’s so crazy is after seeing the gortat screen, in Wemby’s last game against the grizzlies, this “unstoppable cheat code” move was actually guarded by Wemby. He was sealed by Jemison and as Scottie Pippen Jr went up for a layout, Wemby jumped and reached over jemison for the block on Scottie Pippen Jr. So there goes Wemby doing the “impossible.” -Edit- There is no gortat screen mentioned at all in this clip though lol
