Watching Luka, Kyrie a lot. When there is a loose ball near them, they will go into a crowd of teammates and opponents and come away with the ball more often than the law of averages should allow. They have fantastic hands and the reason to know that is to watch other players fail to come up with the ball in similar situations. Hard to explain, but it's a thing with guys like those two.

I don't think alotta people know Luka's background. He's been a professional basketball player for 9 years already and he's only 25. More importantly he's been a ball dominate tall and big player. He played in Europe in similar offenses as the NBA so the transition was much easier for him. Luka also has had the opportunity to watch LeBron play to study him. Luka's game is a great match for this era also with the spread out offense with space. The closest player to LeBron style of play is Luka. The main difference between their games is LeBron's explosiveness. Their stats are similar. They both love to go left and shoot 3 pointers from the left wing. Right shoulder fadeaways. Both don't like to go right and pull up for jumpers. Luka is just starting to shoot going to his right more. He's now running off screens a little to catch and shoot. Luka is averaging a triple double basically 35-10-9. Imagine if he can start making 85% or more of his foul shots??? Luka is a basketball genius. He sees the game faster then most guys like most of all the greatest players ever. He's special cause of alota the same reasons the other greatest players are and were special. Talent, confidence, work ethic, basketball IQ, consistency and love for the game.

US basketball main problem is the restriction and the monetizing of the game in early stages this leads to young players been put under the microscope since very early and this leads to fewer professional players been develop in all meaning of the word. Back in 1960 till 2000 the college programs use to produce MAN who came to the league with all skill required to play the game the right way .Yes you have freakish talent who jumped the que and become superstars.

Not sure about the Linear part with Luka, I have seen him blow by great defenders too often to give credence to that one. Even JJ mentions Luka blowing by people.

Cuban should look all credit for getting Luka when he lost Brunson the same year. Clearly Brunson is the second best player from that draft and Cuban didn't see it.

(6:20) Q: How? A: Crappy NBA defense. I know JJ Reddick is a champion of "today's NBA players are SOOOOOO GOOD offensively that no defense can stop them" ... but my eye see crappy NBA defense.

What's hilarious no yt american can model his game or skill level. Eastern bloc athletes must laugh at yt american athletes and get offended when they try to guard him. Reason they get along with black players better, they identify with the hunger and ethic that goes into being top level. Notice who luka or jokic hangs with when not around their countrymen?
