I just watched the documentary based on you and you are a freaking hero and the guy that played you could have not played it any better props to the guy that played it and more props it coming from you but you should’ve thought in that smart brain even though it got to you you should’ve tried to get him to let us use see that map you see that map I mean and more before you got mad and told him it was gonna be delivered and to go get it but oh well you did it so he won’t hurt no other little girls how the guy was raised is really fucked up though

When his other book Chicago Phoenix came out and filled in all the blanks, I was so impressed with this guy and what he had to go through to make it to the top! I am truly a fan now. traveltm you are an obsessed little jealous troll toad living down in someone's basement percolating off public aid! You forgot the man stopped a child rapist serial killer from ever being released and being able to kill anyone else's young daughters again! The serial killer for sure was about to be released on appeal on technical errors, guess you missed that part you idiot! Jimmy got over 6 months of new confessions on over 20 other young murder victims, some were recorded confessions too and that is what stopped the serial killer from ever winning his appeal and getting out! It's stated very clearly in his award winning "Black Bird" movie series and in his best-selling books! Guess you forget all that part didn't you idiot! That makes him a hero to all sane people! And your facts are all wrong the map did not mean a thing and he clearly in great detail explained why it did not matter, you idiot! The mission was 1st and foremost to make sure the serial killer did not get out, which Jimmy succeeded and accomplished, and 2nd to find the bodies, if possible, which FBI CSI teams have said was next to impossible to find them! Read his worldwide best-selling books and you will understand the real story and the facts you idiot!!! You would have been scared out of your mind in there and crying nonstop and been some inmates bitch in one day! You could never have accomplished what Jimmy did! Now crawl back in your stinky troll hole and get lost!

UNFATHOMABLE CONDITIONS - talking to and befriending a serial rapist child killer is an extremely difficult task and living in a high level prison is something that is typically not done. Who would agree to this mission? Who would know what to do or say to a killer? Jimmy had to do things that no else could do or say. No one has ever done this type of mission. @@virtualworld2231 what an ignorant comment! The man was involved in the marijuana business which is now legal and something you use all the time! What a hypocrite! Much much different than a child rapist serial killer! You have a sick perverted take on this. Which obviously means you condone and support child rapist serial killers which makes you just as sick as the serial killer, and you should be locked up in prison yourself! Hope the Feds come knocking on your door soon!

I come to YT and search Jimmy after finishing Black Bird, this is the fist thing to come up so i clicked it. Never listened to Vlad, of course I've heard of him but never listened to an interview before. God Damn his constant "OKay...." Not only throws me off but the person he is interviewing i mean for fuck sake act like you're interested in what he is saying it feels like he has a set structure of questions he refuses to get away from and kills any interesting tangent that may come up.

Just came here...Binged the show! I was hooked when he felt the doubt and fear pulling in to the prison! The van stopped, and everyone inside looked at him.... it was like this! " Friday night 4th down and goal w 1 sec on the clock and the team is looking at the "Guy! thier Guy! " and at that moment, it's on his shoulders....not physically to get it done but to mentally to inspire his "Guys" to believe they will get it done! It may not always workout but that mentally of F' it let's do is what makes this country. Leaders.lead! Real see's real! I'm about to watch the documentary and I'm sure there were some dramatic things added for the "big screen" but I'm also sure there were some things that were left out for the same reasons! I wished he just caved the old Italian guys head in when they only had 2 guys there but that's what made is character real! 100% Man!

Great interview! I know Jimmy's story. I've read his book, In With the Devil. Black Bird is a gripping fascinating show based on his book. Keene's story is truly unique and true! Wished that the Black Bird series included some of those scenes from his book. I am currently reading his "Chicago Phoenix" book. It's fast paced. Hope they include some of these stories in a second Black Bird sequel or prequel .
