Jimmy Keene on Having 20 "Life or Death" Fights Working Undercover in Max Prison (Part 6)

Watch the full interview now as a VladTV KZread Member - / @vladtv
Part 5: • Jimmy Keene on Going U...
Part 7: • Jimmy Keene on How He ...
Part 1: • Jimmy Keene on Selling...
--------
In this clip, Jimmy Keene revealed that he had been involved in numerous life-or-death fights during his time behind bars. Keene mentioned a specific incident where he was confronted by three guys while talking on the phone to his father. He defended himself by hitting them, knocking them all out. Keene also discussed his interactions with Larry Hall, a convicted serial killer, and how their relationship evolved over time. Keene shared a story about how he gained Hall's trust by standing up for him during an argument in the prison TV room. This led Hall to eventually confide in Keene about his murders.
Keene clarified that he had obtained confessions from Hall regarding the deaths of about 20 girls, debunking the misconception that he only had information about two murders. He emphasized that his main goal was to keep Hall behind bars to prevent him from killing again. Finding the bodies of the victims was seen as a secondary objective.

Jimmy's interview captivates with his storytelling prowess, immersing readers in the narrative. His books, including the exceptional "Black Bird," have left a lasting impact, deserving the awards and accolades they've received.

This was a great interview. I didn't know anything about this guy. I read In With the Devil only off of a recommendation. The story was good but I wanted to know more about Jimmy's life. When his other book Chicago Phoenix came out and filled in all the blanks, I was so impressed with this guy and what he had to go through to make it to the top! I am truly a fan now. I can't wait to see what comes out next!

Great interview, book and series. I can't imagine coming face to face with a serial killer. How did he ever hold his composure. I would never have been able to do it. I'm looking forward to another book and series.

This was a great interview listening to Jimmy tell his experiences. I have read the books and watched the series. I couldn't put them down. I can't imagine the decision of going from a minimal security prison the where he ended up. He did a great deed getting to know Larry Hall. I couldn't look him in the face knowing what he did to those girls. Because of Jimmy this serial killer is no longer on the streets.

One of the most tilted-towards-death life or death fights I was in was when a group of 15 - 20 of the next generation's Cape Verdeans from around my area rushed my corner. Lol, they were all anywhere from like 12 to 15 years old, and while I figured at first that they'd be happy with some regular brawling, punching n such, til they probably woulda been able to overwhelm me n stomp me. Nah, these crazy lil dudes wanted to pin cushion me with stab wounds. Thank God for the adrenaline that comes with near death situations, only thing that probably gave me the extra boost to get through & away from em. 😅They were even chasing after me through traffic, still wanting to get their coming-of-age stabs in.

@mikeybU1 That is a respectable question to ask. He was internally arrested after the phone incident and was thrown in the solitary. 2 days later he went to an in-house hearing and won the hearing because the whole incident was caught on the prison video cameras and clearly showed he was attacked at the phone and had to defend himself! The FBI also would have rescued him if the consequences were to severe. This is all well documented in his best-selling books by legal documents and interviews with the guards and Warden! These very weird commenters on her should really learn the facts before they open their uninformed mouths!

He explained it in detail to the interviewer who asked the questions, that is why they call it an interview! What was discovered in the raid and why it was there he explained; He was still charged with it all because it was in his house! The guns were dropped because proof of valid ownership was proved! And if you call someone selling weed which is now legal then I guess you are a drug dealer because you use weed daily you hypocrite! So, you are literally wrong on all you just said as always! And stop your jealousy crap, about him being full of himself, he just told the story that happened and where he is now! He did a great deed for society by stopping a child rapist serial killer from ever being able to rape & kill anyone else's young daughters again! So, he should have got off everything!
