I don't think they're mansions, maybe a large house, but mansion doesn't strike me as conan's thing. I do remember from his covid segment about washing your hands properly, conan had a nice, average suburban looking kitchen, decent sized with the island in the middle where the sink was located.

Yeah younger Fallon is completely different to older Fallon, the only common thread is the impersonations, apart from that they're like two seperate people. Young Fallon comes across as awkward and even edgy and unpredictable in demeanour, like you're not quite sure what he's going to do, older Fallon just comes across as an establishment sycophant who'd fawn and gush over anyone.

As a long time watcher of Fallon’s late night, I actually completely disagree. I saw and heard a lot of similarities here. I’m only 32 but I gotta tell ya…. if you told me today that you were completely shocked that I’m not the same person I was when I was 24, I would laugh LOUDLY in your face. Y’all are wild for being upset that he’s different. This is Jimmy at 24. HE IS 49 NOW. What do you ACTUALLY expect from people? Celebrity or not?

​@@majimbo8528 Fallon's show feels like it caters to the 13-25 demographic with simple dumb jokes that aren't that funny, and stupid twitter-based skits (that aren't funny). I think Conan's show was aimed at the same demographic, but when you go back and watch it now, it's intelligent, and still funny today. If you go back and watch fallon's stuff in 10 to 15 years, it will be outdated and even dumber than it is now. No one can top Conan!

​@@BloomingOnions301 impressions has always been his bread and butter. He tried to follow adam sandler's career path and do romcom movies, but he just wasnt as funny. His charisma, friendliness and connections kept him afloat and somehow landed him the tonight show.

Man I got emotional last night. Time moving on is so sad & bittersweet. I would do anything to go back 25 years and just do it all again.

This dude always gets flack for his laugh, fake or not, but man he has always really nailed his voices. And still a crack up 25 years later.

I was so emotional yesterday when I saw Conan at Jimmy’s show, I still can’t get over it 🥹🥹🥹

Jimmy killed it then and still does now! Amazing to see. So proud of how far he's come and other talent is proud of him also! He just wants everyone to have fun and laugh!

Conan is the GOAT and this is a full circle moment but let's take a moment to give Jimmy some credit for how talented he is. Having moved on to doing the hosting gig, he doesn't "perform" as much as he used to, so naturally his role has changed dramatically, but he's SO talented.

He was one of the first people if not THE first to do an Adam Sandler impression. He really modernized impression comedy because it has been gone for a long time. Will Ferrell was doing purposely inaccurate ones, it was getting all post-modern. But Falllon had this quirky library of people who weren't considered "famous enough" to even need to be impersonated, which is part of what made it funny. Him doing Chris Rock pretty much blew my mind. This was before Hader, before a lot of people. He updated an old fashioned, kind of elitist genre and made it relevant to millennials.
