Every actor played their role brilliantly. Shin'ichi Chiba (Hanzo), Vivica A. Fox (Copperhead), Chiaki Kuriyama (Gogo), Lucy Liu (O-Ren Ishii) all did a great job. Not to mention the actors in Kill Bill 2, which is the better of the two movies.

you know, nowadays i miss the flow of talk shows in the 90s. some were crazy fast and than there was conan. he was sometimes crazy, but very respectful to the actors, funny and it always seemed like a conversation they'd have without the audience watching, loved the flow

"Something like this (holds up forearm and hand), so you mean medium huhehehe" literally greatest and most underrated part of this clip

Uma is a gem. Lots of fun watching the back and forth with Conan. As a fan of both cinema and martial arts, the two Kill Bill films stand up as classics. Uma has to get a huge amount of the credit for how well these films work. Never seen her give less than a great performance.

Many cities around the world has concepts or cinemas that show reruns of movies. Here where i live, people can even make suggestions to what they should run. This way i have been able to see so many old movies that i never had the chance to see before. You should check it out. And another way, is to rent a cinema for a few hours, and just run the 4K blu-ray version yourself, invite some friends and have a blast.

She is still my favorite actress, I just think she is the total package, brains beauty and strength. Massive crush still all these years later.

Never saw her do an interview, but she is different, and kind of beyond beautiful. There is something special there. Unique looking and sharp.

Uma Thurman's performance in Kill Bill 1 and 2 are amongst the most underrated acting in the History of Film. She had to learn Mandarin, Japanese, Karate and Fencing for this role. The Oscars ignore that kind of effort.

she has a charm about her that is A+ special. I can see that lots of the best moments of her characters were her being Uma, not acting. wow.

Uma has been my celeb crush for so so many years. Almost alone, but Geena Davis is standing beside her with her her Midwest sense of humor. She did good getting with Ethan though, I could have never given her that. But she's a genuine beauty in the Hollywood pantheon. Also Jaime Lee Curtis, can't forget her either. Yes I like the tall, terrific actresses.

I know this was 20 years ago but if you look at pictures of her now in 2023 Uma is still one of the most beautiful women in the world, even at 53. Also a very talented and underrated actress.

One just cant deny this fact,Tarantino knows how to choose his actors very well

After seeing SO MANY interviews with Conan, I continue to be amazed at how generous he is. He set's his guests up with the funny lines, and lets them have them when he could clearly steal the joke, and get the laugh. So many in his position behave as if they are doing the guest a favor by allowing them to be on HIS show. However, the opposite tends to be the case. Gracious, self-deprecating, and just an all around great guy. He sets the standard.

She is very unique, attractive and natural actress. One in a million.

This has got to be one of the most deftly navigated interviews ever. The invisible tight-rope that Conan is walking is palpable and the double-entendres are deadly sophisticated. Such nuance!

God this aired 22 years and 11 months ago. Wow how the time has flown on by.

Knew nothing about Uma then suddenly I'm stunned, in love with her blinding brilliance🌹 and instant acknowledgement of wacky, honorable and humble Conan. The two of them would be perfect in a movie about an ancient Celtic couple who wore torcs around their necks and cracked jokes as they swung their heavy swords in battle, all the formidable wives typically charging off to battle with their husbands.

I saw volumes I and II a couple times in theater and still remember it like it was yesterday and still have the ticket stubs. I can’t believe this was 20 years ago and during the Matrix, Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings films being in theaters. Such a cool time

I could see her as a famale bond. Most actresses would take the role too seriously, and it wouldn't feel natural. I think Uma has a presence that would allow her to be more authentic to that role. Obviously bond is supposed to be the role for a "Man's man" and believe me I want to see a tough guy with style and class do the role as much as anyone...but I think she could pull it off and i'd be curious what kind of movie that would be. I suppose Kill Bill is as close as it could get without the martini and suit.

Bond girl means one of the women Bond uses and throws away. Do you just mean you could see her as Bond? So could I.

Still an absolutely lovely woman in every sense. Beautiful and humorous and very talented. Total package.

If you watch her daughter maya in interviews now she reminds me So much of Uma here!! Holy Crap. Her look sound and mannerisms. So cool

So glad this was pulled out of 'storage'. There are many people (including me) who have seen the 'Kill Bill' movies 10, 15, 20 times (you get the idea) and if I'm switching around with my remote and I see it on I most definitely will watch it. Uma was absolutely fantastic in the movie and, btw, the supporting cast was, can we say, sensational?

I've been able to get most of the best of the Tarantino movies. Kill Bill Vol. 1 & 2 being two of my favorites. Reservoir Dogs another, as well as many others, but Kill Bill is easily one of the best of them all. The action, the brutality was over the top but done with a unique intensity, and a art form almost. The music, the characters, the fights, and the development of all of the characters was done perfectly by Tarantino. It's hard to put into words and describe why a movie that was so viciously brutal, was so damn entertaining to watch. Not in any sort of bad way. Tarantino has a way of taking real life insanity and making it, and showing it in a again an incredibly unique way. What's sad now is what Hollywood has now become.

@@EdsterIII Wow! What a loaded reply from you and I thank you very much for your in depth story behind the man and in particular what he accomplished with Kill Bill. I kept nodding when I read your comment because everything you were saying was so 'right on'. But, if I may, I would like to reiterate something I mentioned which I believe had a lot to do with the movie's popularity through the years and it was the casting of Uma. How does that line go in the song, "You're my perfect imperfection"? There was something about her in that particular role which 'didn't fit' but she was so comfortable doing it she wound up hitting a home run with it. It's as if she added another dimension to her role. I can picture Quentin Tarantino looking at a take on a scene and uttering to himself, "She is definitely adding something to the movie in her own way that is wonderful." Just a thought.

One of the best actors out there. Beautiful is just her side gig. Being a nice person is her foundation .

@@boddysurfer The word 'actor' might or might not imply something, but It doesn't infer anything - it is the listener/viewer that makes inferences.

Shes just delightful, witty, and charismatic.

She killed it.

Such a killer star on screen but so gentle out of it.

this lady truly is one of a kind.

She took control of everything in this segment. Amazing skills.

Kill Bill is one of those movies that if you’re channel surfing you always stop and watch it.

I like to think that Uma is the person who appeared in Pulp Fiction.

Uma is absolutely gorgeous and a very talented actress

It's great that there was a time to immortalize such beauty.

She’s great. Immortalised for ever in two of my favourite female roles. Mia Wallace and The bride. And yet here she seems so humble and sweet.

I would love to see her get a Bond girl part sometime soon. I really loved her in the Kill Bill series and would not mind seeing another Kill Bill continuation.

Supposedly, Kill Bill Vol 3 is in the works with Maya Thurman Hawke playing Beatrix’s daughter.
