A rock concert is like an open air version of the Internet community board.

Time consuming but what does a 14 yr old have better to do. We would show up at the stadium early the morning of and hang around the loading area. Eventually someone would approach us and we would tell them we were early, with the band and basically did odd jobs,carry shit around etc.Need any help?.. But GET a name! Eventually as the day goes on use his name for everything."George" knows us,we know George. "They have been here all day so they must supposed to be here rught?" Heard that a hundred times. That turns into,well you need pass to stay backmhere so everyone will know... IN!!! My bud and I had full access to some of the biggest shows in SC. We saw VH during their Woman and Children tour 3x full backstage. Thank you George!!

I saw a show down in DC at the Warner theater and since it was an older band most people there were about 20 years older than me and I was repeatedly yelled at to sit down. At the time I thought they were the ones being dicks and not knowing concert etiquette but now I realize it wasn't always like that and some people prefer to sit. Even though I get it now it still feels unnatural to watch a band from a seat

geekrockrats I just started listening to this episode, but I have a hunch he talks about ppl wearing the shirt of the band they're going to see. I'm just putting 2 and 2 together haha. Also PCU is a very underrated 90s comedy

The irritating thing that people do at concerts is just sit there with a stone face and don't get into the music because they're too cool for the room. These people have no idea how hard it is to perform in front of people. Musicians are not going to appreciate you just staring at them like you'd rather be someplace else.
