YOU brought up pride. Anyways, in case it was a genuine question, when a minority whose voice has long been silenced and whose members have been mocked for the way they looked, used as costumes, described as animals, associated with all things bad / ridiculous/ dangerous / unattractive / unintelligent etc by a majority of people from another community - aforementioned community that was controlling the media's narrative, the cinema etc, and made sure to only depict their own kind as worthy of desire and praise, which then stayed engrained in everybody's mind worldwide - is celebrating its members, they are not doing it against anybody (not saying white, asian etc aren't beautiful AS WELL for example) but in an effort of claiming back something that had been taken away. In that case beauty, but it can indeed extend to pride. People have bleached their skin and flat ironed their hair to fit the "white / caucasian is beautiful" narrative. (We can argue that some white people will go suntan artificially, inject things in their lips and butts etc. Is it against their whiteness or just aesthetic choices ? I don't know) But because before was a time of shame and lack of representation, now is a time of acceptance and celebration for minorities. Does it make sense ? Claiming white pride when no one has ever systemically pushed you down or told you you didn't count, you were ugly, stupid, lazy doesn't make sense. You have had no reason historically to even question white wasn't beautiful because it was always a climate where by every action, literary hero, movie etc, white excellence was overly shown and thus expected / considered "the norm". I hope I managed to get my point across clearly and I hope you don't feel attacked but can leave this comment section with a new perspective on things and a better understanding of the topic.

This might be off topic but I have a guest request it's a guy named Raphael Rowe he is a person who was wrongly accused of murder and spent 12 years in a maximum prison before he was acquitted. Now he has a show on Netflix it's called inside the world's toughest prisons he goes in for a week and Report what it's like living in that space. I think you would find him very interesting.
