Jerry Pritchett 500kg Deadlift Progression 🇺🇸

A look a some of Jerry Pritchetts World records and progression towards that famous half ton lift.
jerry hopefully will nail the 500kg in 2018
Have to add this in here as I’ve had some nasty comments left....this is for Jerry’s fans to get excited with the prospect of him hitting the half ton. I am aware of it needs to be 501kg to beat the world record. FFS chill the hell out and join in with the excitement of some many strong dudes at the minute. muscle screens

Jerry Pritchett and Benni Magnusson both did 465kg but failed 500. when they retire from strongman they could start their own ice cream company, Benni and Jerrys

Glen Anderson that comp was set up specifically for Eddie to lift 500kg. The time between lifts and weight jumps were set for Eddie specifically. Benni broke 500 off the ground easy, with different weight jumps and the allotment of more time like Eddie had. Think benni could have easily pulled 500.

Daniel Dyszkant Eddie's went from 463 I think to 500 in a year. If I remember correctly. But hapthor is young. (Though he doesn't look it) and in a much better, more sustainable physical from.

300 kg deadlifts have been done since the 1940s (in the same way that 500k deadlift has been done in 2016, meaning it has been done at least once). It's still an insane feat to manage 300 kg deadlifts - but the world elite has been doing that for decades now.

If they didn’t make Jerry and Benni sit around for a half hour while Eddie celebrated they had a chance at hitting 500kg, or at least not getting injured. Jerry has been working with some injuries, like bicep and hamstring, but he is an awesome Strongman competitor.

Eddie hall had only ever gotten 460 in the gym and couldn't get any heavier so looked into other ways to help him use 100% of his muscle ability, watch his videos he explains how he went to see a expert to help his mind control and talks about how tiny woman are able to pull cars of there kids etc. The normal human only uses so much of there muscle ablilty but when put in certain situations your body can do the unthinkable.

I have to agree with Eddie Hall on this one. End of the day, who cares? It's a monumental personal achievement. But it's been done. Even until you're talking about 510, 515, 520- big numbers- who cares? History won't remember the second guy to do it, or the third etc.Or the guy that pulled 501 - 502. It's the big numbers people care about and I can't see that happening for a long, long time.
