People can be kinda cringe. They see someone lift 500kg, something that really shouldn’t be possible yet people manage it anyways, and instead of thinking “that’s impressive” they think “one man did a different lift, that’s cringe, I should flame them in the comments”. Like, who cares? It’s not as if this video is an official list with important parameters, it’s just a compilation of heavy deadlifts, I’d like to see you lift 500kg if you think it’s so easy

Respect to Ivan Makarov for almost deadlifting 505kg, that's not easy feat at all, 4kg more than Thor himself.

Two guys around 105-110kg bodyweight have pulled 500+ sumo and raw compared to two guys both over 200kg bodyweight pulling 500+ conventional with suits.

20 years ago this weight was impossible.

I know nothing about any of this. It just popped up on youtube because algorithm. But I got fuckin chills watching these guys do the impossible through sheer grit and obsessive levels of work and dedication. Humanity is so cool.
