I love me some Jerry Lewis... have since I started watching him in the early 70's. What I'm surprised to know is how he treated his sons when they were growing up. Seeing clips of him and Gary together, you would never think he wasn't a good father to his boys. That's so very surprising.

That Performance of "Help" was top notch. Enjoyed this whole video. I never knew about their bad relationship till recently since reading comments about how poorly Gary was treated.

I didn't know Jerry was such a dancer.

This is so cool! I have never seen his son before my entire life and I have watched all of his movies growing up through the years but this is the first I have seen his son! He does look a little bit like his dad but not very much. But I like this video it's so cool! 😁👍 He does have his dad's dimple on the chin.

Bizarre music montages..but I grew up with them, so...Robert at 68.

TV entertainment in the 60's was so much more wholesome than the garbage that's shown today.

So why did Jerry Lewis disinherit his family?

I know one of his kids sued him so he was out. And Gary said publicly that he was not upset he got no inheritance because he had made his own money and wasn't expecting anything anyway.

Jerry was an incredibly diverse talent Actor, comedian,dancer,producer,teacher and all those years of his selfless time to M.S. awareness n raising funds .hope it's not true about him being abusive to his family ..I guess we just don't know any celebrities on a real personal level

Well actually, Lewis loved Gary, and even heavily funded Gary’s band, Gary Lewis and the Playboys. That’s why the Wrecking Crew (Hal Blaine, etc) filled in for the instruments on Gary’s hits. In fact, Gary Lewis later denoted his father’s legacy and his behavior towards him. You can see now why Jerry would exclude him from his will.
