We never knew how close Kobe and Jordan were until Kobe passed and Jordan revealed their relationship. Jeremy Lin fought hard to get to the NBA, and shined when he got his chance. It’s dudes like Kobe and Melo that Lin looked up to sleeping on couches just to get the call. I’m sure his family abandoned him for pursuing pro ball instead of the traditional Asian way.
