He is as much a sensitive actor as a disciplined singer. I get the feeling Jeremy Jordan does not pay attention to a song unless there is a part inside it, a story to tell. And I am not sure who is more inspired, we or Jeremy. I say this because when he performs I feel he is really focused, sharing perfect delivery with us.

I feel like the emotional storytelling a song can portray is sometimes even better than the accompanying music. It's a beautiful dynamic really.

There was so much emotions in this version that Internet couldn't handle to transform it without crashing. However it managed to give us the best audio ever

Ryan Pratt no he didn’t originate it, he sang it at the pitch(along with singing Hugh’s part) and was using it as an audition for the role of Phillip but at the end he discovered Hugh already called to cast Zach.

Every time I watch this, I keep imagining it’s in the point of view of a father speaking/singing to his newborn baby about his wife who died during childbirth🥺. Their marriage was rocky and messy, and now having this innocent newborn to take care of, he recognizes that and is filled with regret for not cherishing her when he had her. So he tells the baby about what a wonderful person the mother was before the pregnancy, before he lost her and it just makes me tear up🤧

Now that he has a kid himself, this performance compared to MC Theater is amazing. And MC Theater was sooo good!
