Funny, since Mary's mom is in this.

My grandfather actually worked on the special effects for jaws 3, specifically the part where jaws crashes through the glass. That scene was originally COMPLETELY DIFFERENT, a jaws prop was on a rail so he could be dropped onto a pane of glass with water on top of it. The camera had a plastic bag over it so it wouldn't get wet. Unfortunately either the SFX company or the movie company was bought out and he left the company, the scene he worked on was removed and replaced with the one that is in the movie now.

Kaefer1973 yes, but coral is an essential part of many marine ecosystems. climate change actually affects coral, as a change in temperature can cause it to bleach (and bleached coral doesn't survive for very long). both climate change and destruction to coral reefs are huge issues that pose a danger to the earth and the organisms living on it.

Jaws The Revenge..... I felt sorrier for poor Christie Atkins in the beginning of Jaws than I felt for Sean Brody in the forth flic.

You are absolutely right. At least, this movie had some ridiculous cheese in it, with the laughable effects and editing. You can still ENJOY it, even though it is, undoubtedly, a bad movie. Jaws: The Revenge had NO redeeming qualities whatsoever. None. Zip. Zero. Zilch.

The concept was awesome. The execution was terrible though. It definitely begs for a reboot with real changing effects versus what the show did. The late Simon Macorkindale did the best he could with what he was given.

I remember watching this at 9 at my house for a slumber party. we threw a lot of popcorn at the tv for how bad this was.

Even in film you can still see abuse in the whale. I would literally jump in the water to attempt telling the shark "you will be forced to do tricks"

When I learned my TV had 3D support and got this movies blu-ray I was surprised it actually works and is even serviceable by my nonexistent standards. That doesn't change the fact I got bad a headache after viewing it, yes the 3D is a huge factor but the plot is also to blame. (Fun fact: the 3D version of the movie is hidden in the special features)

This was my favorite Jaws movie as a kid.

+The Cinematic Mind If by "Yes," you mean it's crappy as it always was, then yes, the 3-D effect is shitty as it has been for over 60 years never mind the analog or digital technology at work.

As a kid in the 80’s, I used to watch this one repeatedly. Still love it despite its obvious hilarious flaws.

When i saw this i instantly thought of this, my apologies in advance. 13:54 THE WORLD~! One second has passed......... *swims closer* Two seconds have passed...... *vanish* Three seconds have passed...... *smashes face against glass* Four seconds have passed.... *slowly moves back and charges as glass breaks* Time has begun to move again.

After watching Blackfish, Jaws destroying a Sea World park is a positive thing.

I've seen a lot of 80's films in 3d like Friday the 13th part 3 was in 3d and that was a lot better like in one scene where it showed Jason crushing some poor guys skull and they show the guys pop out of his skull and it comes out right at you and with this movie aside from the bad effect of the severed arm was the slow moving 35 foot plus Great White Shark going right at the window of the control room I mean the stupid thing wasn't even moving right up until it smashed nose first right into the window and the only part of the shark that moved right when it made contact with the window was it's mouth and another scene where you can see the shark moving it's tail was when it attacked the underwater tunnels going for the tourists.

I saw this movie when it first came out. We arrived at the cinema 15 minutes before the movie was scheduled to start, but the line moved so slowly that we didn't get in till after the opening credits were finished! (So we missed the severed arm...)

5:35 That Yellow Submarine joke killed me!
