This is the most beautiful song in the world that makes this grown man cry. I think of my mother and all her unconditional love she's given me, and my beautiful wife and all the same love she gives to our children and our new grandchild. My mother in law gets mention in all this as well.

When the wedding scene starts I just have to tell myself even though my mom's not going to be at my wedding she is going to be there in my ❤️♥️♥️ and I always 😰😰😰 when I think about her. I was adopted when I was 2 years old and I only knew my mother for about 4 years because she had a stroke when I was 6 and she's been gone for a little over 8 years. But my dad's girlfriend has been that mother figure that I need and I'm 15 now and I think about Mama everyday and wonder what my life would be like if she was here with me. I LOVE YOU 💛💛💛 Mama and I LOVE YOU too Bonnie 💖💖💖

Literally was allowed to hold my son for the first time who was just diagnosed with special needs since thanksgiving, they thought he was gonna die, he was critical. The hospital saved him, and they held a candle lit vigil making individual ornaments for each child’s life lost and I panicked coming in and said a prayer scared to see for the second time if they failed pulling him out of sedation and intubation early, this song was playing when they told me I could hold him, he was breathing on his own and is doing better, tell me why I can’t help but think that my son was held up on the cluster in enormity little Angel wings and he came back to me, my boy, he’s okay! He’s still my boy despite everyone thinking he wasn’t cognizant and wouldn’t pull through, he’s got motor development issues in the aftermath, but he sat up and held me, his mom, my only son knew who I was and I am so ever grateful! The only good thing for me to come out of 2023 since my sister died. I am commenting from her account. RIP Shannon, Thankyou for looking after your nephew and holding him in your wings and pulling hkm through another set back and having me stand up despite all mine, losing you was hard and I couldnt lose him and you knew this and pulled him through and all the children who died at this hospital too carried him to recovery I truly believe that and I got to hold and see my baby as he was before this terrible accident and diagnosis as he is and was! He was still underneath it all and held me crying, and I just was grateful to never have to say goodbye to him but say goodbye to thinking it couldn’t get worse and it always did, but through it all I found glimmers of hope and remained confident and held him up when no one else but close friends myself and his father saw he could though.. Thankyou to the exceptional staff of SUMMERLIN hospital in Las Vegas Nv, the candlelit vigil and the family’s of the angels who lost their lives and their spirits than send healing to my son and my late sister Shannon Clark for never leaving me even in death, yoj remained his protector even in the end. I truly believe that, and you taught me how to pull of my pants and being confident in the mom you always saw me as even when we never had one. Your were a woman I looked up to and always will

When we're 5 years old, we say "Mommy, I love you". When we're 13 we say "Mom, whatever". When we're 16, we say "My Mom is SO annoying". When we're 18, we say "I want out of this house!" When we're 21, we say "Mom, you were right". When we're 30, we say "I want to go to Mom's house". When we're 50, we say "I don't want to lose my Mom". When we're 70, we say "I'd give up everything to have my mom here with me again." You only have ONE mom, appreciate her, whether she's here on earth or in Heaven.

I'm not a mother, but this song makes me realize how awesome my mom is. And she is a hero to my grandma (her momma) my grandma has had Alzheimer's now for the past 20 years now. She goes in the nursing home and brushes her hair, feeds my grandma with a spoon, and sings to her with my uncles every Sunday. Damn that line makes me cry everytime!

What other genre of music promotes family values like previous generations of country music? Whether it's "Somebody's Hero" or "He didn't have to be" or a myriad of equally emotional songs I am proud of the country music I grew up with. Tried to stand in line at a store with this playing in my ears and hoped that the cashier thought I was sane.

This song reminds me of my mom because my mom is my hero because my mother raised four children by herself. Me being the youngest, was diagnosed with autism at the age of six, and had it way harder than my three sisters but my mom stood by my side through it all, and I can probably say I wouldn’t be the man I am today if it wasn’t for my mother. I love my mom more than life itself

My mother didn't just kiss my boo boos. When I had a massive stroke 14 years ago she was at my side in the hospital 24/7, for 12 solid weeks. I cherish those memories and that time that I got to spend with her.

My five year old granddaughter spent the afternoon today. She’s my light, love her so much. I often wish my mom was here to see her. She’s been gone since my daughter was 10. I miss her terribly to this day. This song reminds me of her, we were her whole life.

Chelsie Maetzold Othoudt I’m not getting married anytime soon but mascara on my dress would be the last thing I’d worry about personally, my biggest concern is if my dad’ll be able to handle being there, walking me down the aisle, and show up for the Father Daughter dance. He served in the army until I was 16 and he cannot handle large crowds without his Service dog Mike. I will always welcome Service Animals to any event, especially my wedding because I have really bad social anxiety after being abused and locked in a closet by my principal and teachers as a little kid just because I am autistic so for a couple years we basically shared Mike, but I know sometimes even with Mike he can’t be in large crowds. I wish I could worry about something as trivial as mascara on my dress instead of if my dad will even be able to show up to my wedding when I get married. Also yes I’m aware you posted this 4 years ago I’m just saying that you’re lucky that was something you could worry about instead of what I worry about.
