Her story after this is really unfortunate...really got chewed up by the industry. But I agree - the 40s vibe is SO there. She's amazing.

I was thinking that it's the same as someone who stutters until they start singing

Beau Dermott (Defying Gravity) went on to do Broadway and has a musical career. What she didn’t know was that her dad (pictured in one of the audience reactions) was diagnosed with terminal cancer and in less than six months after her audition he passed away. He got to see his daughter succeed.

Yes i saw her dad in the audience with her older brother… If she knew about that fateful diagnosis , somehow i don’t feel as though it would have been as good as it ended up being. 😮😢 great that he got to see her succeed , conciliation prize i suppose , not that it was a prize as such , but you get the jist of the thought…❤ to Beau & her immediate family…

They kept his terminal diagnosis from her until her performances were over. Dad and the rest of the family knew he was terminal when they recorded this show.

The people who told Christopher he wasn't good enough is jealous and didn't want him to believe in himself. Glad he took the chance and went for it. Christopher, your voice is awesome.

This was the best Britain's got talent I ever saw. Fantastic!!!!Alice Fredenham's performance was gorgeous!!! Beau was amazing and Emma was stellar. Shy is so lovely!!! Christopher made me bawl. So much soul!!! Maxwell was beautiful!!! So incredible! Opera and a baseball cap! Perfect!! And Dylan was splendid! What a darling little man with a giant voice and heart! 👏 👏 👏 👏 👏

Reminds me of the old records my Mom and Dad used to listen to. They would have loved her.

I so wanted Dylan to get that golden buzzer. Such a beautiful and amazing performance.

Their have only been a very few moments in my lifetime where I was able to let the thought / idea, to continue uninterrupted, all the way to the destination. The very moment that I realize, that I have arrived at that breathtaking apex, It starts to fades away;.... as the memory of it follows much slower, blessing me a few seconds more with the unbelievable. I apologize for my ramblings, but I instantly remembered the trip my mind took when watching that video.

I don't think they had a Golden Buzzer on BGT when Alice auditioned, you'll have to look at the table. They don't have a Golden Buzzer on X Factor UK, on which Christopher auditioned.

When the Busker came on. I was fixing my hair for work. I literally almost dropped the mirror I was holding and did a double-take at the video with my jaw hanging open. Holy CRAP that guy’s voice is so shockingly beautiful! 🥰

That’s the great thing about music, really. That the ‘imperfect’ voice with the right feeling behind it can move you no end. There’s a sound, a vibe, for everyone. The great thing about this small compilation is that insecure people can get a major boost by just being recognized. Who knows where it might get them.

Alice is so sincere and is a genuine woman who has a voice that is so sultry and beautiful. I wish her much success in her pursuit of the music industry.

I think those who told Christopher that he couldn’t sing were either deaf or so jealous they felt the need to push him down. His voice is gorgeous and so expressive.

I totally agree. He's much better than many famous singers out there.

These performers have been the most genuine people I've seen on Talent shows by far. I can only imagine how many are still in the dark just yet to be found out.... I wanna see more

To witness the transformations shown in the confidence of these amazing shy singers.. Truly beautiful to see!

It's wonderful to see these people transform on stage when they perform. They are all amazing. I hope they all get the chance to go further with their careers.

Sadly Emma passed away on Valentine's Day from multiple forms of Cancer . She will be missed.

When Alice sang, the audience was absolutely silent. I haven't seen that with any other singer on this show. Extraordinary performance.

Alice sang like she was opening for a 70s James Bond movie...was the kind of voice that made someone like me fall in love with Roger Moore and Sean Connery's Bond.

Maxwell deserved all 4,000 yes votes and Dylan lit up that entire theatre (and that little “thank you” & giggle at the end 😌) Bravo, all, and thank you for having the courage to show us your talent.

I loved seeing how truly humble these singers are. I love when someone who may lack self confidence receives the accolades and appreciation they are so deserving of. I loved Christopher because of his genuine love of his Nana. I was so touched by Emma Jones. Her voice was so pure and she was so deserving of the crowd's reaction. I enjoyed every singer on this clip and wish them so many wonderful memories as they go forward. God Bless each of them!

When Dylan started singing,i was literally holding my breath all the way to the end of his singing ❤❤❤ 12 yrs old wow, he's purely GIFTED, and has his whole life ahead of him. Lets hope to hear more from him in the near future 🎉🎉🎉

The first girl was absolutely, amazing! I love it most when people's inner beauty, matches their outer. I mean absolutely perfection. World class right there!!! That was amazing!!!

I never had the same feeling watching Alice's version of the classic My Funny Valentine. It's like watching Chet Baker sing it live. So raw and so deeply moving. People who watched Chet know what I mean.

I've seen all of these auditions several times now and they are all still amazing to watch. Dillon was a new one I hadn't seen before and he has just an absolutely spectacular voice!!

some wonderfully brave souls on this list, and some awesome performances, in particular from Alice and Christopher. But i want to give a big shout out to Emma. I have never seen or heard anyone that nervous, and she killed it once she got to start singing. Fair play girl

I just want to congratulate Dylan. He was only 12 when he did this, and then he still rock the house with it!

Alice is....disturbingly good! It's like a glimpse into the golden era of Hollywood!

Christopher was amazing. He got out there no matter how scared he was and he did it and he was amazing. He was so adorable

I love seeing movies from the 40's, I think she puts some of those singers to shame. Someone has hurt her, I think that is what she indicated by saying she told no one so they wouldn't judge her. She is a lovely person, and I wish her success in all she does. ❤

Her voice is amazing and she's a great performer, but this is all a staged act pre-planned with the producers. She's been on other talent shows before this one and she has plenty of confidence and plenty of stage experience. The thing is I loved this performance so much I don't really care about the story behind it. The judges already knowing the outcome doesn't really change much.

It’s been a few yrs I think since this young girl sang this. I wonder where she is today. Probably on Broadway.

Ive always hated musicals, but that girl who sang the song from wicked almost had me in tears.... it was so beautiful. I just had to close my eyes and listen.

Alice’s voice reminded me of an old timey singer in a tavern in the 20’s-40’s just hypnotic and infectiously incredible.

Christopher u are amazing don’t ever let those jealous people tell you anything ever again keep singing don’t ever stop

Emma truly has faith and sings to the heavens. I am not a religious person but this was incredibly moving.

Being a child of narcissistic parents I completely understand this young woman’s fear of being judged. She is truly blessed with an amazing voice.

Every single one of these singers blew me away!!! From sultry, "liquid gold" Alice F. to the last performance ~ STUNNING‼️❤

I believe all the singers have such beaufiful voices. Where they lack in self confidence, they make up in courage in standing in front of such a large crowd and sing. God Bless them all and I wish them well as they progress in life and may they soar.

I so identify with Chris. He is such a truly brave man. 😊 I'm a singer myself and I've battled severe anxieties my whole life - I would've been SO SCARED to get up in front of all those people. When at parties, my family encourages me to sing, and I am so nervous the whole time all those eyes are on me, but the positive reactions from nice people are worth those moments of fear. 😊

Alice should have gotten the golden buzzer..her performance was mesmerising! It's wonderful that Sony awarded her a recording contract immediately after her first audition. Bravo..

Listen, Dylan! That was probably one of the best auditions I will ever watch and listen too. Incredible 👏🙏

It's so amazing what happens when people open up their mouths and sing from their hearts. I wish each one of these contestants a lifetime of success singing their hearts out. I was so blessed by this. Thank you so much 🙏

She signed with Sony I believe. Then they dropped her. She did a couple of youtube videos. She got a little traction, but then she said on Facebook that she was having anxiety issues and tired of not getting anywhere so she went back to being a beauty consultant.

That people could make Maloney to feel that he ain't good enough just breaks my heart. He is a very special and gentle soul with the voice of an angel. He is absolutely amazingly good. God bless and protect him

There should have been several golden buzzers. They were all amazing.

I wanted to run up and give Christopher a hug and tell him to forget the naysayers. Most likely they were jealous of his incredible talent.

When i watched Emma I felt so much. She's so beautiful and talented and she doesn't even know it. I could see how closed off and nervous (panicky) and I hope she can overcome that someday. She is way more brave than me, I could never get up there and do what she did. Amazing.❤

My favorite is the beauty therapist, having come all on her own 💖💞

Alice became an absolute, outrageous gift of beauty while singing. She and Dylan were perfect bookends for this video.

I totally can relate to these shy singers...thanks to early childhood criticisms...like when a family member tells you that you have a good voice but the thing is "you're not pretty or fair skinned enough to perform on stage"...really sad! It has nothing to do with one's physical appearance or skin tone. If one has a talented voice/vocals, one can sing their way to the top. Perseverance. 😊
