20:00, Very Valid Question Paul Scholes, Frank Lampard, Steven Gerrard, These are fearsome names. Beckham, etc. It's a sin almost that England didn't win anything from 2002-2010. My theory is that there is an element of stubborn traditional tactics involved. The fullbacks in England were Never utilised properly. They were always tasked with tracking back instead being given the opportunity to make runs & connect with the 3 midfielders just mentioned. This stubborness and adherence to tradition cost them greatly because it halted any tactical innovation & problem solving. England had decent fullbacks in Neville, Ashley Cole etc, but they were used as pure defenders. Xavi Hernandez ( Greatest human to touch a Ball) had Dani Alves, Jordi Alba, etc making runs. Germany had Philip Lham (Best right back ever) making runs, dominating, & "Playmaking". England never played dynamically. They had very static, pre-defined tactical system. Also, Lampard, Gerard, Scholes were all the Playmakers and never fought in the dressing room to challenge each other and figure out a system between them. Pirlo, Arturo Vidal, Marchisio were deadly for Juventus. Pirlo is like Scholes, So Gerard alongside Scholes would have been Deadly, Lethal. But Lack of attacking Fullbacks is what cost England. Italy was never supposed to win in 2006 & last year. They're not actually that good a side in terms of Players. But they have an Outstanding manager. Fabio Capello I feel was tactically over-hyped.

Jamie is such a great ambassador for Liverpool. He gave a speech at the Anglican cathedral when he received his honorary degree over a decade ago and luckily it was the same day my eldest lad got his "proper" degree and we were all impressed at how thoughtful, inspirational and gracious he was in his speech that day. You can see just what made him such an important player to have in the team and the changing room. As a passionate Liverpool die-hard red it took a little time to come to terms with how decent Gary Neville is. Much as I despised the image of him as a player when we were in battle, it's clear that he's just a down to earth Manc that loves his club as much as we love ours. The rivalry between Liverpool and Manchester is, in reality more about a grudging respect. Both cities are great, the people are great and it's just that we both wish there was a bit more distance between us as neither city can dominate with the other just 30 miles down the M62

I'm an American and a United supporter. I really love these interviews because I've always been fascinated by England, especially as it pertains to the neighborhoods and how they're so tied into the football clubs. Many years ago we had that in the US. For example, in New York you had 3 baseball teams until the late 50's. Being familiar with where those teams were located I can tell that you could walk down the street, pass by a couple of local businesses and suddenly find yourself at the entrance to a 40,000 seat plus baseball stadium. The fans were all local and their devotion was beyond compare. That's what I love about English football more than anything else, the fact that the team and the supporters are one. I wish the Glazers could grasp that. As for the interview, I'm blown away by Gary's skill as an interviewer. Being able to bring the best of out of the person you're interviewing is a real talent. Of course Jamie is a real character and the 2 of them obviously have a natural chemistry as well as a true friendship. Such a great series and I hope to see much more.

45:00 when Jamie talks about his incident where he felt lost for 6 months worrying, get on with things & then it'd creep up - I really needed to hear that. I got caught speeding grossly on the motorway (first & last time) & I've felt exactly the same waiting for the letter because it'll impact my job too. I know some people will be reading thinking its not the end of the world but like Jamie said you can't shake it & it feels like it at this time.

If you haven’t got a letter after 14 days, you’re in the clear mate. I was doing 75 on the motorway and didn’t realise I’d entered a 50mile zone as motorway was coming to an end although still three lanes. Then camera went off. My wife was due to give birth and spent the next three weeks worrying to death as was in debt, feared insurance would go up, work would be affected. Then researching things, it said they have to send you a notice within 14 days. That was three years ago!! It never came! Just move on… and keep your head up

@@only1timmo Hi Mate, thanks for taking the time to write to me I'm really happy your situation didn't come to anything and I'd love to be in that position, honestly. However, when you get stopped by an officer you don't get the 14 FPN as the officer reads out the notice on the spot. He has 6 months to lay the papers to a court & they usually take the full 6 months. Rn I'm 3 days shy of 5 months. Reading this back itself highlights how the fear and anxiety has had me up reading every forum ever... its awful. I just wish I could've learnt my lesson another way via a camera with a lesser speed like most people instead of such a gross punishment. I know I was doing a gross speed & what it could've lead to (death/injury of others) deserves punishment but it's the wait too, I've learnt my lesson and held it for so long but I'm sat here unable to own it or move on until the letter arrives & I have to tell work. I just feel awful, 30-40 seconds of a complacent mistake and I could lose a lot financially.

I always text on g nevs podcast that it isn't a podcast but I genuinely love these two guys. They pretend they aren't mates but they have brought each other to the top of the media game. Great viewing lads.

This was a great watch. Really enjoy this channel. Quite inspiring as well listening to both of them talking about their competitiveness in relation to being the best pundit.

This is brilliant. Like others have said the rivalry and the friendship. Great to see the communities and how they are doing their bit to try and make things better for people who are struggling. Really down to earth entertainment.

This is the best one yet. Carra the person is actually quite refreshing. When he talks about a kid you can just relate because you were the same!!

Loved Jamie's face when he saw the fly tipped litter at the side of that house 🤣
