yes, i think there is big concerns to have someone like James Charles in the Minecraft Community. Shockingly he would not be the first groomer to be apart of Minecraft. My niece is 8 years old, too young to know about James’ past and she recently started watching him on KZread. I told her not to watch him because he’s creepy and she said “what because he’s gay?” And honestly it took me a few minutes to work out how to tell her about his past without telling her too much because she’s a child and I genuinely believe that’s why James is “gaming” now to attract a super young audience that know nothing about his past.

I just wanted to write this for people who aren't concerned about James being on Minecraft. I started playing Minecraft when I was 12 years old. I'm autistic so Minecraft was one of my special interests that lasted for years. I'm 22 now and I don't play anymore and I stopped a few years ago but when I was 17, I did meet someone. We spoke for hours each day and we ended up falling in love. It was a long distance relationship that wasn't intentional. I obviously wasn't on Minecraft looking for a boyfriend, but it did happen by accident. We ended the distance 4 years ago now and we have bought a house together 2 years ago in real life. There are videos of us from a few years ago on an unlisted playlist on my channel. What I am trying to say is, I am very concerned that James will find younger children and try and do it all over again. There are younger children all over Minecraft as you all know. Finding a relationship on there can happen.

As a part of minecraft community, the minor age, IT IS disturbing to know that an influencer that has gotten in a scandal with messaging minors inappropriate messages was targeting a community that has a lot of minors, some even probably not aware what gr**m*ng is, (I also don't know what that word is until few months ago), and I understand that James like that block game but I don't like that he was trying to squish his way in into the community... Disclaimer: it's just my opinion:)

Shutting them down is much easier said than done, when there will always seem to be someone who looks up to them and supports them. In the immortal words of Ms. Bailey Sarian, "Get better role models".

The Mc community has been known to have many grown adults prey on young children. Most of the Mc KZreadrs I watched growing up ended up being exposed for being extremely inappropriate with children. While I don’t watch much Mc content now, I don’t see a problem with people not wanting James to be apart of of a community full of kids. Sometimes gatekeeping is a good thing.

Minecraft is hugely popular with little kids so I’m not surprised James Charles is into it

I think its valid. I think we should be concerned about any of the adults who play Minecraft who have had inappropriate interactions with children

Okay being canceled for doing inappropriate things with minors joining the Minecraft community is like the most ironic thing ever, there have been so many canceled Minecraft creators for being predators lion maker for example.

As someone with a little brother who is starting to get into the world of minecraft (not online, but through an app and watching youtube videos) I'm good. I dont understand how people will still look at James and think he's worth it. It says a lot about them.
