The “a listers” all used to dress up but after attending Coachella 5+ times, I’m sure the initial excitement in coordinating outfits faded away and is replaced by just wanting to be comfortable and enjoy the show. Influencers care about being seen, grabbing attention, and having people talk about them. Part of that is the flashy outfits. But again, who really cares? It’s a music festival but no one seems to give a shit about the music.

The real problem here is how people keep going to festivals without their own refillable water bottles 🤷🏼‍♀️

What kind of celebrity doesn’t want to be spotted? They’re literally celebrities. Fame = Immense recognition. That really doesn’t make any sense. Why get famous if you don’t want to be famous? Isn’t that the reason they spend almost their entire lives working on music, photo-shoots, videos, films, etc? To have someone walk up to them one day and go “OMG ITS-“ I’ll never understand. Maybe it’s because I’m not famous but that isn’t the case for all celebrities.

It's nasty how many expensive venues do not pull through and leave their guests in compromised/unsafe positions. Also really annoyed at how James is everywhere but jail. Outfits of his being a major topic when he literally admitted to taking advantage of people. It's giving me Jeffree star 2.0 and I hate it. I get that Hollywood normalized so much of this flippant hoarding wealth and taking advantage of people nonsense, but dang I wish people would really prioritize their criticisms.

our family friend actually helped start Coachella because she loved music and they wanted to make a fun environment for people to enjoy music. now we r treating it like the hunger games w some best dressed party. a little embarrassing if you ask me

James must have been so uncomfortable at Coachella in that outfit. If you go to Coachella dress casual and enjoy your day and bring tons of water. Influencers do try way too hard, but they probably have a comfortable luxury hotel room or Air Bnb. Most of the regular people are camping.

James didn't attack Lauren. They have known eachother since 2016-2017 - he knows that she is a content creator/influencer. It sounds like he was mainly elaborating based off of her video and providing context about influencers dressing up.

It’s sad that Coachella has become influencer fashion week pretty much it really drives up the cost of these tickets and takes so much attention away from the bombass sets people do. Like 2ne1 performed together for the first time in years since they broke up and there’s a million videos about James Charles possible bbl and security as he walks around the festival grounds what the actual fuck. No shade no tea but I miss when Coachella was about the line up of artists I go every year but I don’t think it’s worth the experience anymore.
