This is the only podcast I look forward to and have watched every episode of and it's 100% because David Cross is the host.

Love Jake. Several years back my wife and I were on a small catamaran in Maui... this was peak New Girl era and Jake and his wife happened to also be on the catamaran. There was only like ten people total onboard so naturally at some point we ended up next to them making small talk. Of course, we knew who he was because New Girl was one of our favorite shows at the time, but as this was like a, 4-hour trip, we didn't want to make him feel weird or uncomfortable so we played dumb and acted like we had no idea who he was. I remember at one point in our convo I slipped and sorta default asked what he did for a living, and he said... "I work in LA" I didn't press any further and moved on to another subject. Looking back, I bet that was a tell... most people would have followed up with a "What do you do in LA?". Then and there, he knew I knew and had been playing it off the whole time... I like to think he appreciated it.

I just watched the clip of Jake's brother cheering in the Steve Harvey show and I haven't laughed this hard in a long time now knowing the full context

I love that the grape issue is a recurring theme. Maybe the podcast should be called Fake Grapes: Hidden or Not Hidden? 🤣

Cross's "Google this" commands are enough reason to watch each episode alone. But I about died when he said "well I wouldn't use the f word" 😂😂

I’ve followed David cross since childhood and moreso enjoyed his standup. However, also as an insatiable podcast consumer who watches them for years during my daily chores and such… your right about the Name of the pod. In general if your a celeb with a decent Q score your name will be more recognizable and less important really. Also it should be simple so when we talk about it there’s not this whole long confusing thing. We’re more likely to say “did you catch David Cross’ new pod?” Maybe the name “ *David Cross presents: Senses* !” ? I donno. Either way, the show itself will be whether someone consumes. Also just a general note, swear words will never get in the algorithm. ✨🖤✨

I tend to comment, as my weird sleep schedule meshes with this podcast's release. Hate to be the bearer of bad news, but I'm guessing David Cross isn't waking up at the stroke of 4:00am EST every Thursday -- while recording them out of schedule -- to personally upload it. Probably an intern or automated. Be more courteous and say hi to Emma and/or the AI which will eventually inhabit our brains.
