met him on Fri in Brooklyn after the show and he was very cool...he came off like he was genuinely interested in me and my girlfriend, asked us a few questions and just seemed super down to earth...which after meeting a bunch of people in front of us for almost an hour, really cant be easy for anyone to do

i remember once like 10-15 years ago i saw david cross in san francisco. he wasn't doing comedy or anything, he was just eating at a restaurant. i was eating there too. we made eye contact and i made that face like "oh holy shit its david cross", and he made this face like "yes, i am, please for the love of god don't come over here". i didnt. it is one of my fondest memories.

Didn't they alter the show format when it was on TV? A video of the normal podcast would be awesome if it didn't harm the vibes for whatever reason. I can imagine some improvisers could feel more in the zone when not thinking about their appearance. Some would benefit from visual gags of course.

@@eemoogee160 Tv show was different but it was its own amazing thing too. Recorded podcast would be fine, but having the tv show back too would be incredible. Was much more dynamic and artistic than just a video-podcast. Either way though, scotty has been pretty clear the TV show got cancelled and its out of his hands. Clearly he enjoyed making it, so i'm sure he would still be making it if he could

Not a flashy moment or even surprising given how seasoned an improviser he is, but Scott's "Oh no.." reaction to "Seven ate Nine" is wonderful.

It was weird of David! I couldn’t tell what sort of comedy he was going for. If he was purposefully halting the comedy/ convo. Fell flat the entire time imo.
