Took about 1-1/2 hours to remove the lines 2 days for shipping and 2-1/2 to put back together time consuming but pretty easy using some common sense and a few how to videos.
Is it typically the same spot that fails? At the slight bend in hose in the front of the car?
Marvin came out to the Detroit area last August to fix our 2003 XKR. He landed that morning and starting working around 10:00 AM and didn't finish until late in the afternoon around 5:30-6:00PM. He replaced all 6 hoses as well as the worn out latch. It is now October and been enjoying the gorgeous fall weather with the top down. I have seen videos on how to do this repair and I wouldn't tackle this job myself. I know I would cause enough to get myself into trouble. I MAY have eventually fixed it over the summer but I wouldn't be able to put everything back together exactly how it was put in the first place. Thank you Marvin!

Actually I did mine and it was pretty straightforward, but time consuming. Took about 8 manhours and I used the www.tophydraulicsinc.com hoses.

@@marvinjohnson7197 Are yours better than their hoses rated for 23.2Kpsi? Theirs are smaller OD hose and work very well with the thin Pentosin CHF11 fluid.

@@garyvanremortel5218 well, lets just say in 10 years....I've NEVER fulfilled any warranty obligations plus because I ACTUALLY perform this repair almost 200x's in those 10 years.... I help with the installation if the hoses are purchased from me and I answer the phone 100% of the time! You don't have to email me and spend half a day waiting for a response to get an answer to a 10 second question. Big difference from me and the other guys.
