A Timeless Beauty. Can't get enough of it. Just looking at it generates such immense pleasure to the onlooker - imagine the owner's plight. Thank you Peter for a delightful treat.

Still kicking myself for listening to a parent when about 19 in 1960 and passing up this type for 25 quid. They said I could not clog up the back yard with it.

Our next door neighbour owned one of those in the 1960's, he was a council house tenant!!! I used to love it .. A very interesting car.

That's a genuine four seater. Love the pattern on the door cards - so 1930s. This is an absolutely beautiful car.

Amazing to think that Sir William Lyons was designing cars of this calibre back in 1933. I really like the rakish lines of this coupe - very dashing.

My father owned a 1937 1.5ltr Jaguar then a 1947 2.5ltr Jaguar then a 1949 3.5ltr Jaguar. We as a family had great fun with these cars, changing Conrod shells in the dark on our backs, great memories.

An historically important and beautiful motor car with fantastic provenance and an incredible detailed restoration .Love the Art-Deco interior and note the headlamps still have the solenoid dipping on the nearside unit effectively extingusihing the offside one.

Looks like a brand new car OR an original which has never been on the road.

Although I've seen this car myself, I never realised that it still had the original R.A.G. carburettor. These were frequently removed by the owners, due to unreliability. The SS1 was available as a Coupe (this car), an open Tourer, a Sports Saloon, a Drophead Coupe and the Airline. The SS1 and (its 1500cc little brother) SS2 were replaced by the 1935 "Jaguar" range.

Parents, don't worry, Mine got pissed when I bought a three speed bicycle at the age of 18. They claimed that there was no space inside the apartment. They just didn't want you to have it. 😑

+cherfieldm Hi Cherfield, Unfortunately I am not the owner. He is called Irwin Jewell and goes to a lot of shows with it so you might see it sometime. See his comment of this video below. The Gentlemen on the video is his father. Regards Peter

Hi Liz, yes it was a great day, watch out for more uploads of footage taken that day, including the Jaguar timeline. It takes time to edit and upload, Peter
