Hello Peter Harper....yes! The AVV-1 is also in some Jaguar books My E-Type number is. HDU-464C......the 'DU' is Coventry registration it was ordered from Henlys in London 52 years ago.....don't know if they are still in business but it was the first Jaguar dealership in the world

A Nice walk through the Jaguar lineup... Thank you... It's a pity you did not have the camera peek into the Car's interiors... Jaguars always have a beautiful interior and dashboard and i'm sorry you did not think of that while you filmed the cars.. That would have been very worthwhile.

For me, there is only one Jaguar: XK 140

Nice walk around, but if your comments are to taken seriously, you really must get used to the idea that not every mid-sized Jag is a "Mk2". You identified a lovely Mk1 thus, and went on to do the same to a nice 3.8l S--type!

I am the variously described, 'irritating old man in denim with the lady's voice, who knows nothing & keeps intruding in front of cars to read their captions.' This is a very early effort from 9 years ago & best watched perhaps silent with hindsight - I would not do this like this today!!

Hello Peter Harper.....the video was superb when l watched it, anything with British on a car catches my eyes and love to see them....l was in B'ham in 1978 and rode me bike down to Silverstone and took photographs of D-Types, XK-SS, and also the V-12 E-Type license plate AVV-1 the Pale primrose yellow color. Also spoke with blokes that were there which worked building those cars at the Coventry factory....always thought the E-Type was ahead of its time....owned about 20 Jaguars in my life now down to 4....maybe picking up a MK-II in a few weeks...Cheers

Hi Peter, Your certainly a glutten for punishment! But we appreciate your hard work ! At 10 30 the mk lX is Jim Jenkins l restored it 2003. A very nice mk 10 at13.00. Thanks. Oh Dear! I said your a glutton but l 'm worse! I have just started restoring yet another mk lX in the identical colour. Luckily the owner has removed all the body fittings and stripped the many layers of paint (and filler!) So l only (!) have to concentrate on the metalwork.

At time 27:05 they are XK8'S. some of the cars are > XJ series 2's & 3's, XJ40's & XJ40 face lifts, XJ-300 & XJ-308. Daimler jag ( mk 2 shape ) SP 250 v8, also Daimler Dart is the little one is v8 sp250, Daimler 420 sov, JAG 420 MK 10 & 420G. silver one is an S-TYPE not a MK-2. XJ-S, X-TYPE, Daimler majestic major, etc, nice to see all the cars in used to work on. Nice video .

Jeffrey - You are totally right - I am Alan Rubins - who narrated this - not a Jaguar specialist & absolutely exhausted & in agony from severe blisters at the time from taking 1,750+ photos around the show before I did my narration - apologies for inaccuracies! - Fantastic event!!! - Alan

Hi Dinos, you are correct. Alan did a good job of the commentary, but he did get the Mark I and the S type wrong. If you switch on subtitles, then you will see that I have added more detail about the models and corrected his mistakes. I hope you enjoyed the video. We had a great day out Regards Peter

The PA going on about cowboys was a bit annoying lol. The more I see and hear about Jags, the more I like them.

At time 14:50 that is an S-TYPE. I worked on jags from 1963 until 2011.

Can you cut out the old guy in the white denims? He keeps getting in the way of the camera, Also the background sound is annoying!!

I very much enjoyed your video's but you made so many Jaguar fopars (sic) that you had me screaming at the video, please learn the models before commentating, no excuse with google on your phone :)

I had to turn the sound off because of the awful noise that guy on the loud speaker was making. Unbearable

Better if you could ask the man in the black cap to go elsewhere as you are making a video and he is CONSTANTLY walking into shot. Very irritating!!

I don't think the presenter of this walk-around would even know how to spell 'JAGUAR'. Too silly, too silly!

The guy that had NO manners and kept walking in front of the camera...what a piece of work. so I have moved on ... had enough of him. would have liked to see the video, but, had enough of it.
