Maybe because all the subconscious urges and actions a living body does (like blinking and breathing) was removed. And since these actions are mostly subconscious, you wouldn't notice if you just stopped when the urge for it was gone.

In the books, it’s because being a vampire is very different from a human. There is no need to even want/urge to blink, no need to sit, no need to shift your weight to another leg, or scratch, or breathe (except for sensory purposes). I don’t like how they displayed that in the movie for Bella. For the rest of the Cullens, I assume that they’ve been acting “human” for so long that they just do it out of habit, but for Bella, I wish they had taught her how to me more “naturally vampire” (for Kristen Stewart, anyway.) the books describe it much better. Like the Volturi don’t even try to be human; they move as if they are floating across the ground, their movements are jerky and fast, and it’s very obvious that they are not human at all.

The books where far more better then the movie... I was really disappointed when they got to gathering witness in the movie.. I was also really disapointed at when Jacob goes rouge and uses his true alpha over sam, so he can run circles around the house only to have the other 2 join his pack... All the friction of having 2 packs and Jacob's best friends being in the other pack from him.

Jacob was really smart to find a way around the whole problem of exposing vampires. And I like how we actually got to see the scene go down in the movie since the book just only mentioned that he told Charlie.

He was so freaking out, long time family friend and daughters best friend starts to strip in-front of him as a police chief...Him trying to think what to say to his best friend to "Say did you know your boy likes to strip nude and turns into a giant wolf?" It's different in the books. Bella loves her parents very much - hell, in the first book she's prepared to let James kill her in her mother's stead when she thinks (wrongly) James has abducted her mom, and in the second book she completely freaks at the mere thought that Victoria might harm her dad, and in BD when she believes the Volturi will kill her, she asks Alice to tell her dad for her that she loves him and that he was the best of fathers. It's just a shame that none of that carried over to the films; they didn't portray her relationship with her dad very well at all.

Honestly I feel for Charlie. And Jacob had his reasons. Charlie has been through enough. Also, in the book, when Charlie asks Jacob “what do you mean change?” Jacob says “she looks a lot more like Esme now”.

In the novel Breaking Dawn the Cullens have access to a professional passport forger, but you're right - the sheer number of forged documents they would have required to maintain their existence (including medical degrees, drivers licences, deeds of ownership and so forth) would have been immense.

Because as a newborn vampire your body strength and senses gets extremely heightened, alot of shxt around you become so breakable like tofu. Even Captain America had to get used to his enhanced physical strength at first.

A lot of the things she's being told to do are stuff that humans do without thinking, our bodies perform actions like blinking and breathing because if those actions depended on us and our attentions spans we would be dead or irritated. Now that her vampire body doesn't need to do those things by inertia, she doesn't do those naturally and has to be told to do them manually.

My thoughts exactly… she wouldn’t forget how to pretend to be a human after 3 days.

I remember audience bursting into laughter in teather when jakob started to take his clothes of.😂

I the reason she forgot to be human is because. 1. For her, she's walking at normal speed, the normal speed of a vampire is different than the normal speed of a human. 2. She didn't blink because her eyes didn't feel irritated. Her eyes adapted to dryness. 3. She didn't breath anymore because she's basically a walking corpse. 4. She get a new body, a new "Perfect" posture. So she sit what she thinks she normally sit, but since she now have perfect body, she's now sit differently.

They probably thought of it as too risky. They would have to expose the vampire world to him first with the news of Bella being brought across. Then given him the choice to do the same and he said no, he'd be as good as dead because of the Volturi vampire police. If they made him one against his will, he'd likely resent them for giving him the dark gift he never wanted, resulting in an even worse situation. I'll say one thing tho, he'd make one hell of a cop as a vampire.

And he seems like that kind of parent who wouldn't say no to being a vampire, if it meant he could be with his daughter and granddaughter. He isalready awesome cop, but just like Carlisle is an awesome doctor and wants to help people, I think Charlie would too.

Betting on a powerful gift of some sort, because hey, runs in the family, perhaps? I just pretty sure Carlisle would try to make sure he had a choice and let him know exactly the consequences of immortality, plus full explanation of the complications going on.. If he did choose yes, he'd eventually become accustomed to the idea because, well, he would have to. lol.

In the books Charlie marries the one wolf girl so he would be protected by the tribal treaty.

I haven't watched all of the movie's but Bella shouldn't of kept it from her father that she became a vampire so I would be more on Jacob's side her father deserved to know that Bella became a vampire and keeping a parent all in the dark isn't right either in many people's eye's.

Clearly you didn't watch the clip because the reason she didn't was because she was terrified the Volturi would rip him apart. It's against the law for mortals to find out about vampires and they are to be either turned into a vampire or turned into dinner.

Jacob played the ultimate simp this whole series. Sometimes its too hard to watch. Bet it had an affect on his whole career what little there is.

I can't deal with Jacob and Renesmee. That whole situation is beyond creepy even understanding he isn't anything like physical with her till she's grown. Just...nope.

Billy Burke was by far the best actor in the Twilight movies. His acting is very natural and he really shows it in this scene. This was one of my favorite scenes in all four of the movies. One of the most true things to come out of it is when Jacob says " You don't live in the world you think you do" because that's definitely true of our world today.

so glad i got to grow up watching these in the movies 💕💕 will never forget all the girls going crazy in the theater when jacob stripped lol 😂

She does breathe in once in a while in the book. But since this makes her feel thirst for blood a lot stronger, she only does it when she has no other choice with Charlie around. And controlling blood thirst with a human this close normally is abrsurdly difficult for vampires. Jasper still struggles with it even after so many years. So Bella being able to do that really was an achievement of unbelievable proportions even if she was out of her newborn stage. But it's unimaginable with her being a newborn. She redefined what a vampire is and what they can really achieve in term of self control.

Well she saw him transform and for them to be called werewolves knowing they’re shapeshifters they look more like real wolves in a way as they’re just giant dogs. Werewolf to me is like a real supernatural monstrous creature like in the scene of Harry Potter when his teacher becomes one when the moon appears.

Bella's dad probably thought he was going to get lucky when Jacob started stripping in front of him. I'm sure he was disappointed when he found out that "stranger things happen every day" really meant Jacob turning into a werewolf.
