Repent and trust in Jesus. We all deserve Hell for our sins, such as lying lusting coveting and more. We can't save ourselves, but Jesus can save us. He died on the cross to save us for our sins and rose from the grave defeating death and Hell. You must put your faith in him only. He is the only way to Heaven. Repent and trust in Jesus. Romans 6:23 John 3:16❤❤😊❤

May our God bless this young man. God has given him an awesome talent to sing and make music. I'm a little embarrassed to admit this, but I have heard my share of singers singing the National Anthem before, but none of them has ever brought me to tears. God has blessed him with quite a voice. Always remember people of America.....we are, for the time being, "free" because of the "BRAVE." If we as a nation turn around and bless God, then He will bless us even more.

Jackson, I understand people taking a knee. I understand people NOT taking a knee. In the end, we are all brothers and sisters. But I have to say that your rendition has the ability to bring us all together... and that's something that we need to do. You touch that chord in all of us that wants to be united, wants to respect and to be respected, wants a nation where one person's opportunity is not at the expense of another's, and wants harmony. Your rendition was not boisterous, not angry, not conceited, and not an assumption of perfection. Your rendition was reverent... not like a hymn, but like a prayer from the heart. Thank you. Please always use your voice for peace and love, not division and hate.

So elegantly said, felt & appreciated. Many I know feel this exact same way, but do not always know how to say it, so, I thank you.

@@Lori6972 Well thank YOU for your kind words! Yup, I'm pretty good when it comes to writing. Not a great speaker, though LOL! I've never been big on "patriotism" since I have no right to be proud of the accomplishments of others. If I won't take the blame for what they did/do, why should I take the credit? And many countries are better in some respects and worse in others anyway. I am big, though, on humbly appreciating our blessings, and I wish that we could all at least TRY to understand our brothers and sisters on "the other side." Even during the Civil War, there was one night of great unity before a major slaughter. On the night of December 31st, 1862, 78,000 soldiers from both sides set up camp opposite each other at Stone's River, Tennessee before the slaughter to come in the morning. It was New Year's Eve. One of the bands from one side started to play "Home, Sweet Home" ("Be it ever so humble, there's no place like home"). Then another band joined in. Then another, and another - until all of the bands from both armies were playing the same song and all of the soldiers were singing about how they just wanted to go "home." When I heard Jackson Dean's introspective version of the National Anthem, I thought of all we've been through together as a nation and how much alike we often are even in our hatred. He sang the anthem like those young soldiers sang "Home, Sweet Home." And it seems we're still fighting that lousy war. I hope that we can get through the present times as something resembling a family, but it ain't lookin' good.

@TimWard your writing is beautiful & heart felt. I don't have issues with Public Speaking, it was (all 4 years of high school) and still is one of my strong suits. After reading your comment, I knew there was nothing else that needed to he said.

I live in Canada but can't stop watching this video. There's not one version I've ever come close to liking when the singer tried making it there own except this one. You sing it with pride and infront of a small crowd which showed you were really singing because you enjoy it and not looking for "likes". Awesome job!

It was perfect. Perfect. From the heart. Typically not a song that you rearrange. Others have tried, big A-list singers, just to be different, and it fails. Not this one. It was beautiful. A home run. Check that, touchdown! This is my new go-to version of the SSB!
